When is the Grand National 2026?

Cheltenham has just wowed us with four days of racing at the festival and now the calendar continues in high gear with the Randox Grand National. The race is the centrepiece of the iconic Aintree Festival, which starts on Thursday, April 9 and reaches its glorious apex on Saturday, April 11.

That apex brings with it the Grand National itself. The world-renowned race is scheduled to take place at 16:00 BST on Saturday, April 11. The famous Class 1 Premier Handicap is one of the horse racing calendars showpiece events.
