Greyhound Tips - Tuesday, May 6
18:26 Swindon - T5 (Harlequin Dahy) @ SP
This runner impressed me on debut with the early pace and looked good until about the third bend when he started to get tired, will be stronger for that run and can come on a bit in regards to fitness and time this evening. Visually looked a lot quicker dog than an A5 runner and can confirm that promise tonight on only his 2nd run.
T1 is a slow- to-go railer and has been in poor form since upped from A5 to A4. Gets a welcome downgrade this evening but that still won't be enough. T2 had similar split times to both runners around her, did win the last spin in A5 and has broken 29 seconds a few times, would be dangerous if turning in second place but everything points to this runner being crowded out of it at first bend.
T3 is very consistent on times and again another recent downgrade, similar comments to T2 in regards to split times and I can see the inside runners coming together at the bend. T4 has been a lot higher in grade and is slowly slipping down the grading ladder and tonight gets her first run in A5.
Her back form is there for all to see so to me rates our main danger I feel we clear this runner though, kick on and have enough in hand to hold off the closers off the last bend, which will be T2 and T4, I'm confident us in T5 will pace up, clear and make all. Strong choice.

19:49 Swindon - T6 (Sallowglen Hope) @ SP
Very unlucky in latest appearance when travelling all over the field into the third bend but badly crowded out of it. The winner of last week's race (T1) is in action this evening and I think with a clear run we can turn the tables on her.
T1, like I said, winner last week but had everything going for her and got a crucial lead and a clear run Drawn again in the fence and with the dog outside going to be moving off seems to again have a good draw and I feel will be second in to us.
T2 Oxford railer, not had a look here but has broken 27 seconds for the 450m at home track so does have ability, a worry for me is the lack of track experience.
T3 runs well out of the third trap but not as well from T4 in latest appearance and moved across on the run up, so this move to T3 will benefit this runner.
T4, Monmore raider, no form that tells me can get involved this evening, grader that will struggle pitched into open company. T5 more at home closer to the rails so will basically turn left as the traps rise and bore towards the rails which will have a knock on effect for the inside runners and there will no doubt be crowding. So to us, a great make up, we have the outside to ourselves and can pace up and clear these by 2nd bend, avoid the trouble and go onto win well. Bet of the day for me.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
