Sunday Greyhounds Tips: Can Trap2Line follow up Saturday’s success?

Greyhounds Tips - Sunday, November 24
19:49 Crayford - T2 (Breton Molly) @ SP
Very consistent stayer who has competed in top open races throughout the country, always performing well. Tonight’s task will be difficult but has the quality to come through the field.
How I see tonight’s race going - I think we track the pace in Trap 1 on the first lap and we just need to get frost run on Trap 3 as I think that will be the danger if leading us up. Trap 5 has a poor draw for a railer and will be coming across, Trap 6 might be dangerous if that’s able to clear on the outside, but with a clear run could be a few spots off these in a clean run race. I just want a nice clear run first lap and then it’s game on. Strong selection.

20:34 Star Pelaw - T1 (Littlers Nuke) @ SP
A well-travelled dog who runs well wherever he goes, last week's trial looks to have us spot on for this - took to the track well recording a sub-26-second run. For a stayer, that is rapid.
How I see tonight’s race going - I see nothing more than a trap to line victory with Trap 2 looking a suspect stayer and having never been over the trip, Trap 4 needs a draw closer to rails and will edge into Trap 3 on the run-up. I feel Trap 5 and Trap 6 are out of their depth. Very strong selection.

Trialled in very well last week in preparation for this race having been running well at Oxford and staying on strongly over the 650m trip.
How I see tonight’s race going - running style suggests we may have to come from behind to win this but will have plenty of time and two laps to do it. Good draw on the rails with Trap 2 moving middle run up and will keep a middle course throughout, there are no excuses tonight and we do have everything going for us. The leader should be Trap 2 or Trap 6 but I feel we will be too strong in the later stages.
