Wednesday Greyhound Tips: Trap2Line out to emulate Tuesday’s success

Greyhounds Tips - Wednesday, August 6

19:56 Yarmouth - Swift Illinois (T4) @ SP
A runner we have backed before, but looking at tonight's makeup, we have an exceptional chance to go around in front. On some of our for,m we struggle to run the second bend and we have comments like 'very wide second' on our card, but that is with dogs around us, tonight I feel we may be a length or two up at bend, so that may not be such an issue.
How I see this A4 being run:
T1 traps well but lacks a yard of pace to the bend, so normally gets swallowed up as they head into the turn, will need to run a time of around 28.30 to win.
T2 slowly into stride runner will struggle to come through this field, showed more early pace in trials but has yet to reproduce that in races, and is best watched currently.
T3 is the main danger to us and I do fancy a T3/T4 reverse forecast, has come back on the card after a layoff, very consistent, not that quick early but does stay on strongly and is in the right grade to challenge, if we don't lead or run very wide off the second bend I can see this runner taking advantage.
T5 is a stayer who won in a lower grade last week, again, not much early pace, and I can't see this runner beating the dogs on her inside.
T6 was a non-runner last week, so fitness is to be taken on trust today. Overall form is poor and is plummeting through the grade currently. I can't see this one getting involved.
So to us in T4, drawn to lead and therein lies our chance today, we can clear this field at the bend and run a better second bend, kick on and have enough in the tank to hold T3 off the last bend, confident choice.

20:54 Romford - Faradays Megan (T2) @ SP
Desperate in defeat last week when running all over the winner but challenged at the wrong time and forced to check at the fifth bend when travelling well, no time to recover after that. Compensation awaits this evening.
How I see this S1 being run:
T1 ran well three runs back over this trip, not so good two runs ago, won an A1 in an average time latest, looks like the leader tonight, and can set the race up for us to challenge and come through late in the day.
T3 very quick A6 time on 18th June, stepped up in trip since, and even though he has been running well, overall times have him a little off these and more of an S2 runner.
T4 vacant.
T5 was a non-runner last week with a niggle, previously had been running well in the grade prior to being off, will edge wide on run up so may take up T6 ground early on in proceedings, which in turn could spoil each of their chances.
T6 is a little off these grade-wise and likely an outsider in tonight's contest, will have to avoid T5 on the run up, but I see this one going off at a big price and not getting involved.
So, back to us in T2, we have lots going for us, a strong stayer that will get a decent tow into the race by T1, and as long as we challenge at the correct time, we can sail past and win this race going away off the last bend; a very solid choice.
