Team News

Wolves are still coping with injuries as Enso Gonzalez, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, Leon Chiwome, Pedro Lima, Sasa Kalajdzic and Yerson Mosquera are all unavailable.

Matt Doherty was able to shake off a knock to make an appearance from the bench at Old Trafford. Matheus Cunha made a return to the starting XI against United and he should keep his place in attack behind the in-form Jorgen Strand Larsen.

The Norwegian has five goals in as many Premier League games coming into the weekend, and his goal tally for the season now stands at 12.

Wolves vs Leicester Stats

  • Wolves have won five PL games on the bounce
  • Jorgen Strand Larsen five goals in as many PL games

Leicester have nothing to play for now that they know they will be competing in the Championship next season, while it's increasingly likely that Ruud van Nistelrooy will not be the man in the dugout upon their return to the second tier.

Abdul Fatawu (knee) is the Foxes' only long-term injury absentee, while Harry Winks has been frozen out for disciplinary reasons. Victor Kristiansen returned to the squad last weekend following a leave of absence for personal reasons.

Veteran Jamie Vardy released a statement apologising to Leicester supporters for how this campaign has unfolded, and the striker looks sure to keep his place in attack for the trip to Molineux.

Wolves vs Leicester Odds

Wolves have won five top-flight matches in a row for the first time since 1970/71, and they are 4/7 to come out on top on Saturday to extend that run to six. Seeing as Leicester have lost nine of their last 10 fixtures without scoring, backing the Old Gold to win to nil is attractive at 8/5, which has an implied probability of 38.5%.

The hosts also ran out as 3-0 victors over the Foxes in the reverse fixture at the King Power Stadium back in December.

Leicester's previous away trip in the Premier League was a 2-2 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion, and the stalemate is on offer at 16/5. The Foxes are 5/1 to come away from Wolverhampton with the three points, which they have only managed in two of their 16 road trips this term.

Wolves to win to nil @ 8/5

Vitor Pereira has done an extraordinary job to drag Wolves from shoo-ins for relegation to safety with games left to spare. Every Old Gold supporter just hope that the Portuguese coach will be able to get backing in the summer as they are fed up with going into each campaign with anxiety over their top-flight status.

His team are in great form despite their lack of depth and the job he has overseen deserves reward in the form of backing from the board. It's crazy given how the season started for Wolves that I am now writing about them confident that they will win.

Pereira is a worthy candidate for manager of the season in my eyes, and if Wolves can continue this strong form to end the campaign, they could finish the term in mid-table.

Leicester's spirit has been broken and there is so much uncertainty surrounding them at the moment so I think this should be a routine victory for the hosts.

Jorgen Strand Larsen anytime goalscorer @ 13/10

This man has has been in great form during Wolves' winning run with five goals during this period. The Norwegian is full of confidence right now and Wolves fans are happy that his loan move from Celta Vigo will be made permanent in the summer.

He is someone who Pereira rates highly and the Wolves boss appears to be getting the best out of him with the way he is playing. Strand Larsen will be relishing to face the team with the second-worst defensive record in the division, as he may feel that there could be one or two more goals on offer to him.

The striker has 12 goals in the Premier League and is just to shy of his teammate Cunha. Given the success Strand Larsen is having in front of goal at the moment, he could be in a position to end the campaign as Wolves' top scorer.
