Wigan vs Fulham Prediction: Visitors could win thriller

Wigan were the last true surprise winners of the FA Cup in 2013, but they face a tough task if they are to have a big say in this season’s tournament as they host Premier League side Fulham in a fourth-round match.
Here, we pick out the best bets for the FA Cup clash, which kicks off at 15:00 on Saturday and will be played at the DW Stadium in Wigan.
Wigan vs Fulham Betting Tips
Team News
Fulham’s Harry Wilson, Kenny Tete and Reiss Nelson are all injury absentees and this game may come too soon for Willian, who has just returned to Craven Cottage for the second time.
Expect plenty of rotation from the Cottagers too, with Rodrigo Muniz likely to lead the line in place of Raul Jimenez.
Wigan will be without Thelo Aasgaard, who was sold to Luton recently. Oliver Norburn and Jon Mellish arrived at the club but both are cup-tied.
Silko Thomas has returned to parent club Leicester after picking up a serious knee injury.
Fulham can be backed at 1/4 for the victory, while Wigan are 11/1 outsiders and the draw is available at 5/1.
Over 2.5 goals is on offer at 4/7, while both teams to score is priced at 11/10 and it is 11/8 for over 1.5 goals in the first half.
Fulham to win and both teams to score @ 2/1
Fulham have an almost impeccable record against Wigan in recent times. They are unbeaten in their last 19 meetings with Saturday’s opponents, having won 11 of those.
That is their longest successful run against any opposing team and Fulham should make it 20 with a win against the Latics on this occasion.
The hosts are a mid-table League One outfit who have lost four of their last seven games and look unlikely to cause many issues for a team of Fulham’s quality.
However, both teams have scored in 11 of Fulham’s last 14 games and they could be leaky at the back once again, particularly if, as expected, they rotate heavily.

Rodrigo Muniz to score at anytime @ 21/20
Rodrigo Muniz was Fulham’s star player last season but he has seen himself usurped in the pecking order by Raul Jimenez this term.
Nevertheless, the Brazilian has five goals in seven starts in all competitions and looks a prime candidate to get on the scoresheet on Saturday.
