Wales host Turkey on Tuesday evening (19:45) at the Cardiff City Stadium, as their Euro 2024 qualification hopes hang in the balance.

The home side must win and hope that Croatia falter in their match with Armenia, while the visitors have already been confirmed as group winners.

Wales vs Turkey Prediction

  • Turkey to win and both teams to score @ 9/2
  • Brennan Johnson to score anytime @ 2/1

Team News

Aaron Ramsey remains in the treatment room for the hosts due to a knee injury, while Chris Mepham must serve a suspension for accumulated bookings.

As for the visitors, Arda Guler remains on the sidelines, as does skipper Hakan Calhanoglu, who has stayed in Italy due to illness, meaning that Emre Akbaba could retain his place in the starting XI.

Match Odds

Wales are 23/20 to claim a much-needed victory, while the in-form visitors are 9/4 and the draw can be backed at 5/2.

Punter can back both teams to score at 4/6, while over 2.5 goals is priced up at 10/11.

Turkey to win and both teams to score @ 9/2

With five wins picked up from seven games, Turkey have secured their place at Euro 2024, and they can finish their qualifying campaign on a winning note away to Wales on Tuesday night.

Following qualifying wins over Croatia and Latvia in October, Turkey ran out 3-2 winners over Germany in a friendly on Saturday, beating Die Mannschaft for the first time in 72 years.

In fact, the visitors were dominant in the reverse fixture between these teams back in June, prevailing as 2-0 winners and limiting Wales to just a solitary shot on target.

Brennan Johnson to score anytime @ 2/1

Johnson scored for Tottenham in his last Premier League start and is due a goal for his country after back-to-back strikes against Belgium and the Netherlands last summer.

Turkey have shipped at least one goal in three of their last four away wins, so there's a decent chance that Wales get on the scoresheet on Tuesday evening.

The former Nottingham Forest man isn't renowned for his goalscoring, as reflected by his price, but he's capable of stepping up for his country here.
