Ukraine and Iceland both overturned deficits last week to advance to a Euro 2024 play-off final in Wroclaw, Poland on Tuesday (KO, 19:45).

With a place at this summer's tournament in Germany up for grabs we've detailed all the latest team news and match odds for tomorrow's match, which can be streamed live on Viaplay Sports' Online service, and offered our Ukraine vs Iceland prediction to boot.

Ukraine vs Iceland Betting Tips:

  • Ukraine to win and both teams to score @ 11/4
  • Over 9.5 corners @ 11/10

Team News

There are no new injury concerns for Ukraine head coach Sergey Rebrov but the former Tottenham Hotspur forward could be without Girona's Viktor Tsygankov, who missed out against Bosnia & Herzegovina due to injury.

Artem Dobvyk will lead the line again after scoring the winner in Zenica last week, while fellow forward Roman Yaremchuk will likely have to settle for a place on the bench again despite his goalscoring cameo in the semi-final.

Ruslan Malinovsky is among those pushing for a start after Ukraine's slow start on Thursday.

Iceland are counting the cost of victory after injuries to Arnor Sigurdsson and Arnor Traustason against Israel, with both players substituted in the second half.

Losing even one of them would be a big blow for Iceland, who could be without Burnley's Johann Berg Gudmundsson again after a thigh injury kept the veteran winger out of last Thursday's win.

Match Odds

Ukraine are 4/9 - or a 69.2% chance - to win inside 90 minutes and avoid play-off final heartache again, having missed out on the 2022 World Cup after a 1-0 defeat to Wales. Meanwhile, Iceland are 13/2 - or a 13.3% chance - to secure victory (90 mins) and it's 16/5 for a draw which would send the tie to extra time.

Both teams to score is 6/5 and it's EVS for over 2.5 goals.

Ukraine to win and both teams to score @ 11/4

Since that play-off defeat in Cardiff in June 2022, Ukraine have proven difficult to beat. In 16 games against countries since, Ukraine have lost just three times, to Scotland (0-3), England (0-2) and Italy (1-2), and those all came away from home.

Ukraine are still not able to play in their homeland but playing at neutral venues hasn't fazed them.

Iceland, on the other hand, have struggled away from Reykjavik in competitive fixtures. They picked up just three points from five away games in Group J of Euro 2024 qualifying, losing to Portugal, Slovakia, Luxembourg and Bosnia & Herzegovina.

The Nordic island country did get on the scoresheet in both Luxembourg and Slovakia (twice) though, and their last three games - wins against Israel, Honduras and Guatemala - have been at neutral venues.

That will fuel belief that they can grab a goal on Tuesday, especially as both teams have scored in six of Ukraine's last nine matches, but it should prove in vain with the Blue-Yellows a much higher level of opposition.

Ukraine to beat Iceland & BTTS at 11-4

Over 9.5 corners @ 11/10

Ukraine's win over Bosnia & Herzegovina only produced six corners in total but two of their previous three matches - against Italy and North Macedonia - produced 13 and 14 respectively.

Perhaps more pertinent is their 2022 World Cup play-off final with Wales which produced 11 corners - seven in their favour - as they chased an equaliser. If either side takes the lead on Tuesday, and doesn't head into an unassailable lead, expect the corner count to rise in the latter stages.

There were plenty in Iceland's win over Israel last week, which saw 11 taken - six for the former. That was the third-straight competitive game involving Iceland that produced at least 11 corners, while seven of their 10 group games in Euro 2024 qualifying saw at least 10, which would be enough to see the above selection land.

Over 9.5 corners in Ukraine vs Iceland at 11-10
