The Premier League returns for the final time in 2023 as Tottenham Hotspur host Bournemouth at 14:00 on Sunday.

Ange Postecoglou’s men suffered a damaging defeat at Brighton last time out, but will be desperate to break back on home soil. Below we have previewed the clash and thrown together a bet builder for you to consider.

Tottenham vs Bournemouth Bet Builder Tips:

  • Over 2.5 goals
  • Solanke to score
  • Son to score
  • Destiny Udogie to get booked

Bet Builder pays 14/1

Over 2.5 goals

This game simply has goals written all over it. Spurs lost 4-2 to Brighton in a game where they were abysmal for 70 minutes, and brilliant for the final 20. Their central defence is still all over the show, while Bournemouth have now won their last four matches on the bounce.

They are in sensational form, scoring another three against Fulham last time out. They have scored at least two goals in their last three away games and will fancy their chances again here.

Solanke to score

Dominic Solanke is the third top scorer in the Premier League so far this season. Behind only Erling Haaland and Mo Salah, Solanke has scored 12 in 18 this term. He’s in sensational form, and could even make a late break into England’s Euro 2024 squad. With five goals in his last three games, and up against a weak Spurs backline, he should be able to get on the scoresheet again.

Son to score

Heung-min Son remains Tottenham’s top scorer this season with 11 goals to his name, and he remains their biggest threat in front of goal. Against Bournemouth, he should be able to carve out a couple of opportunities, and with Spurs still looking strong in attacking areas, I’m happy to back their main man to find the net once again.

Destiny Udogie to get booked

This is likely to be an even contest with several attacking opportunities for both sides, which also opens the door for there to be cards. In regards to being caught out of position, Destiny Udogie often finds himself high up the pitch. He has now picked up six yellow cards this season, the joint-highest in the Tottenham team alongside Yves Bissouma. As a result, and with Bournemouth carrying a huge attacking threat now, I believe the left-back could well find himself in the referee’s black book come full-time.
