Sweden play their final friendly before the FIFA World Cup finals on Thursday when they face Greece at Strawberry Arena in Stockholm (7pm local/6pm BST, Prime Video). Graham Potter's side lost 3-1 against Norway on Monday.

Greece have no World Cup adventure to look forward to, so they are unlikely to feel particularly motivated for this fixture. Read on for my Sweden vs Greece predictions, aided by the latest team news and match odds.

Team News

Alexander Isak scored on Monday during his 28-minute cameo against Norway, so he may be in line to start against Greece.

Viktor Gyokeres is expected to be named on the bench, if he's named in the squad at all, following his participation in Saturday's UEFA Champions League final with Arsenal.

Gabriel Gudmundsson has been out for over a month with a hamstring injury, potentially giving Potter a headache for the left side of his defence heading into the World Cup.

Football Odds

Christos Mouzakitis could be drafted into Greece's midfield because captain Tasos Bakasetas is going to be absent.

Sweden vs Greece Predicted Lineups

  • Sweden: Nordfeldt; Lagerbielke, Hien, Lindelof; Johansson, Bergvall, Svanberg, Karlstrom, Svensson; Isak, Nilsson
  • Greece: Tzolakis; Vagiannidis, Retsos, Koulierakis, Tsimakis; Triantis, Kourbelis; Masouras, Mouzakitis, Tzolis; Pavlidis

Sweden vs Greece Odds

Sweden have won two of their last three games and they are 21/20 to come out on top here.

The draw can be backed at 23/10, with Greece playing out two stalemates across their past three fixtures.

Greece are a 12/5 bet to prevail in Stockholm.

Isak is priced at 5/4 to find the net for the second successive match.

Sweden vs Greece Stats

  • Alexander Isak has 17 goals in 57 appearances for Sweden
  • 3 of the past 4 meetings in friendlies have ended level
  • Greece have drawn 2 of their previous 3 fixtures

Anytime Goalscorer - Alexander Isak @ 5/4

After a season that has been plagued by injuries, it was good to see Isak on the scoresheet on Monday night. Sweden's strength lies up front with him and Gyokeres, and this dynamic duo will be pivotal for Sweden in North America.

Isak's spirts should've been lifted after getting on the scoresheet on Monday, and I'm backing him to find the net for the second straight game on Thursday.

Match Result - Draw @ 23/10

This is going to be Sweden's final exercise before the World Cup begins. They will want to end on a high after the defeat against Norway but Greece, despite having nothing to gain from this clash, can be tricky opponents.

I'm covering the draw here because it has been the outcome in two of the visitors' past three outings, including last time out against Hungary in March.

It's also worth noting that three of the last four meetings that have been friendlies have ended level.
