Rangers vs Hibs Prediction: Can Gers respond to European failure?

Danny Rohl saw his side all-but-eliminated from the Europa League on Thursday as Robbie Keane’s Ferencvaros beat them 2-1, and Rangers will be hoping to bounce back in the league on Monday night.
The Gers host Hibernian (19:45), looking to move into third place and below you can find my Rangers vs Hibs predictions featuring team news and match odds.

Team News
Rabbi Matondo and Kieran Dowell remain out for the hosts, amongst others, but the main concern will be around Bojan Miovski, who has been in good form but picked up an issue against Ferencvaros.
If he isn’t passed fit, Youssef Chermiti should lead the line, with Djeidi Gassama and either Mikey Moore or Danilo set to feature out wide.
Hibs are without Nicky Cadden and Jordan Obita for this one, and after goals from Kieron Bowie and Martin Boyle last time out, the duo are set to keep their places up front. Daniel Barlaser should play in midfield, Jamie McGrath and Chris Cadden should operate as the wing-backs and Jack Iredale will feature in that back three.
Rangers vs Hibs Predicted Lineups
- Rangers - Butland; Tavernier, Djiga, Fernandez, Meghoma; Barron, Raskin; Gassama, Diomande, Moore; Chermiti
- Hibs- Sallinger; O'Hora, Kiranga, Iredale; Cadden, Mulligan, Barlaser, Chaiwa, McGrath; Bowie, Boyle
Rangers are priced at 9/10 to win here, giving them an implied win probability of 53%. Hibs are 3/1 to take all three points while a draw is 13/5.

Rangers vs Hibs Stats
- Rangers are unbeaten in the league under Rohl
- Hibs have won three of their last five
- Hibs are averaging 5.38 corners per 90 and Rangers 6.53
Draw @ 13/5
The defeat on Thursday night was disappointing for Rangers and they haven’t quite been able to convert draws into wins under new boss Rohl. However, there are signs of improvement under the former Sheffield Wednesday manager and they are unbeaten in the league since he came in (five wins, two draws).
Three of their last five in all competitions have ended in draws while Hibs should pose a threat, as they sit just two points behind them in the table and have won three of their last five. Rangers have bagged six wins out of their last seven Ibrox meetings with Hibernian, but I just feel the hosts could be a little tired from their European exploits - so I’ll back the spoils to be shared at a decent price.

Price Boost - BTTS, both teams 4+ corners and both teams 20+ booking points @ 11/2
I can see goals in this one so this Price Boost catches the eye. BTTS have scored in nine of Rangers’ 15 league games, giving them a success percentage of 60% - the second-highest in the league. Hibs are at 50%, but four of the last six Rangers games in all comps have seen BTTS so it’s a good place to start.
Both of these teams produce plenty of corners - Hibs are averaging 5.38 per 90 and Rangers 6.53 so I can certainly see both having at least four apiece here - while a feisty affair could be on the cards - with 20+ booking points apiece also feasible.
