  • Rangers – 11/10
  • Hearts & Aberdeen – 100/1
  • Hibernian – 150/1
  • Motherwell – 400/1
  • St Mirren & Kilmarnock- 500/1
  • St Johnstone & Livingstone – 750/1
  • Dundee & Ross County – 1000/1

Such has been the dominance of the two Glasgow rivals, you have to go back to the 1984-85 campaign for the last time a club other than Celtic or Rangers lifted the trophy.

Aberdeen clinched the title some 38 years ago, the fourth time in the club’s history, and they are the 13/8 favourites in the Outright W/O Old Firm market for the 2023-24 campaign.

The Dons are 100/1 in the normal Outright market, the same price as Hearts, while Hibernian come next at 150/1 and Motherwell are 400/1 to claim the spoils for the first time.

At 500/1 you have both Kilmarnock and St Mirren, the 750/1 prices come in the form of St Johnstone and Livingston, while Dundee and Ross County round off the betting at 1000/1 each.

With Celtic leading the way at 4/6, ahead of 11/10 Rangers, it looks set to be another two-horse race for top honours in Scotland and it could be a tight tussle between the Old Firm rivals.

The Bhoys, fresh off completing the treble last season, have brought back former manager Brendan Rodgers following the departure of Ange Postecoglou to Tottenham Hotspur.

During his first stint at Parkhead, Rodgers won back-to-back trebles in the 2016-17 and 2017-18 campaigns before lifting the Scottish League Cup for the third time in 2018-19.

He returns with an FA Cup and a Community Shield added to his CV, winning both while in charge of Leicester City, and the Northern Irishman has been working hard during the summer with six new faces arriving.

Maik Nawrocki, Odin Thiago Holm, Hyun-jun Yang, Marco Tilio, Hyeok-kyu Kwon and Tomoki Iwata have all joined the ranks, while there could be more new arrivals before the window shuts.

A huge piece of business was keeping hold of Kyogo Furuhashi, who was the league’s top scorer last season with 27 goals, and he is 11/4 to repeat that feat this term.

Rangers have also been busy this summer, bringing in goalkeeper Jack Butland, centre-back Leon Balogun and right-back Dujon Sterling on free transfers to strengthen their defensive options.

In midfield, Kieran Dowell has arrived, also on a free, while winger Abdallah Sima has joined on a season-long loan from Brighton and forwards Danilo, Cyriel Dessers and Sam Lammers have also made switches to Ibrox.

Danilo and Dessers are 5/1 and 8/1 in the Top Goalscorer market respectively, while Lammers is priced at 12/1.

Given the transfer business both Celtic and Rangers have conducted so far, it looks like this could be a closely-fought battle for the title with the winner likely determined by the results in the Old Firm fixtures.
