Senegal vs Peru Prediction: Deposed Afcon champs to take frustation out on Peru

Senegal play their first game since being stripped of their Africa Cup of Nations title as they face Peru in a friendly international at the Stade de France on Saturday (17:00 local, 16:00 GMT).

Despite a 1-0 victory in the final of that tournament to seal a second continental title, the Lions of Teranga have had the result overturned with Morocco awarded a 3-0 win. Senegal will have to do without talisman Sadio Mane as he suffered an ankle injury while training with Al Nassr.

He is the only notable absentee for the Lions of Teranga, however, heading into this friendly match.

Peru arrive with a fairly strong squad. Midfielder Yoshimar Yotun could win his 131st cap this weekend, which would see him overtake Luis Advincula for the most international appearances for the South American nation. There are no major injury concerns for Peru.
