Despite holding a strong position in the Premiership, St Mirren have won only one of their previous six games, losing four and drawing the spare. That win came at Pittodrie in their final game of January, but they’ve since lost at home to bottom club St Johnstone, exited the Scottish Cup against Hearts on penalties, and drew 0-0 with Hibs last Sunday.
