Team News
Matt Doherty (knee) and Rodrigo Gomes (groin) are unavailable for Wolves on Wednesday due to injury. The same goes for goalkeeper Daniel Bentley who is wearing a protective boot as the result of an ankle problem.
Boss Rob Edwards handed summer signing Jhon Arias his first league start in the 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa on Sunday. The Colombian might have done enough to retain his place in the side on Wednesday night.
Forward Jorgen Strand Larsen had a goal ruled out by VAR at the weekend, which would've taken his tally up to two for the campaign. The Norwegian has struggled to replicate last season's form so far in front of goal.
Forest are having to deal with some injuries themselves heading into this clash. Chris Wood and Angus Gunn are out with knee problems, Ola Aina is suffering from a hamstring issue, while Oleksandr Zinchenko has a strain. Taiwo Awoniyi (muscle) is also absent.
Dilane Bakwa and Douglas Luiz are both carrying knocks and are also expected to miss out.
With Wood and Awoniyi unavailable, Sean Dyche has no choice but to persist with Igor Jesus at the top end of the pitch.
Dan Ndoye and Nicolas Dominguez were taken off at half-time in Sunday's home defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion, so they could drop down to the bench here.
Wolves vs Nottingham Forest Predicted Lineups

Wolves vs Nottingham Forest Odds
Wolves are yet to win a league game this season but Forest have just one win from their six away fixtures in the top flight this term. The hosts are 12/5 to come out on top here.
Forest have experienced three draws already in the league and the stalemate is on offer at 23/10. The visitors are 5/4 (implied probability of 44.4%) to come away with the three points, just like they did on their latest away trip against Liverpool.
Wolves have failed to score in their last four matches (all defeats) in the Premier League, and BTTS - No is valued at 1/1.
Wolves vs Nottingham Forest Stats
- Wolves have lost five of their six home games in the league
- Under 2.5 goals has landed in Wolves' last two matches
Match Result - Nottingham Forest @ 5/4
After a disappointing home defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion last time out, Forest will be determined to get back on track instantly, especially against the worst-performing side in the division who are still waiting to win a game.
The Tricky Trees enjoyed great success on their last away trip at Liverpool, which they won 3-0. It was their first victory on the road this campaign and they will be eager to build on that here.
Wolves may have fallen to a sixth consecutive defeat at Villa but it was a tighter game than expected as they lost by just the one goal - and that was a moment of brilliance from Boubacar Kamara.
They do look a bit more organised but there are still a lot of question marks over their defending. Forest have a number of attacking players who will be looking to exploit their frailties on Wednesday and I'm not sure the Old Gold will be able to withstand the pressure.
It's another defeat for the strugglers I'm afraid.

Total Goals - Under 2.5 @ 8/11
Should Forest prevail, I don't think it will be comfortable, as Wolves are fighting for their lives in search of that first victory. I predict that this will be a low-scoring contest, so my second selections is for there to be under 2.5 goals.
This has been a winning selection in Wolves's previous two appearances in the top flight, as well as two of their past three home appearances in the league.
Additionally, there have been fewer than three goals scored in five of Forest's six away trips in the Premier League this season, so I reckon this trend will continue when they head to Molineux.
