This will be the first game of Freddie Potts’ suspension, after the Hammer was sent off for a thunderous scissor tackle on Burton Albion’s Julian Larsson last weekend. 

Manager Nuno Espirito Santo does have Jean-Clair Todibo back from suspension. But the defender could see his path blocked by Konstantinos Mavropanos and Axel Disasi’s blossoming partnership.

The Hammers treatment table currently holds long-term absentee Lukasz Fabianski (back) and January signing Pablo Felipe (undisclosed).

Bournemouth are missing Julio Soler, Marcus Tavernier and Ben Gannon-Doak due to hamstring problems. Forward Justin Kluivert is out following knee surgery.

The Hammers are 11/8 to record just their fourth home league win of the campaign. Bournemouth are priced at 13/8 while the draw is marketed at 5/2.

Rayan to score anytime @ 2/1

Summerville caught my eye for this particular market, but I’ve gone with Bournemouth’s hotshot Brazilian. Two goals in three games for the wide forward since he signed from Vasco Da Gama in January.

Rayan was the top scorer in the 2025 Brazilian Cup and was awarded the league’s Best Newcomer award. 

The 19-year-old has hit the ground running in the Premier League, becoming only the third teenager after Robbie Keane and Anthony Martial to register a goal or assist in each of his first three league appearances. I make Rayan a fine pick to register the former again today.

Both teams to score and Bournemouth to win @ 3/1

Both sides have scored in nine of Bournemouth’s last 10 matches in the division. The Hammers have scored and conceded in six of their previous 10 outings, but four of those BTTS shouts have arrived in their last five matches.

Away from home, Bournemouth’s less-than-watertight defence will be tested. Summerville and Wilson will see to that. But West Ham are porous themselves and I reckon the likes of Rayan, Evanilson and Junior Kroupi can take advantage. There are goals in this one, I’m sure of it.
