Spurs vs Nottingham Forest Prediction: Hosts to gain upper hand in relegation scrap

Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest meet in a relegation six-pointer on Sunday (14:15, live on Sky Sports Main Event), with both teams hoping to make a statement in their quest to avoid the drop.

Tottenham are 13/10 to prevail on home soil, with the draw 5/2, while Forest are considered 2/1 outsiders.

Both teams to score is 8/11, while over 2.5 goals is available at 10/11. Spurs pair Richarlison and Solanke are both 7/4 to find the back of the net anytime.

Team News

Tottenham interim manager Igor Tudor has started to see the club's injury crisis ease in recent days, with Micky van de Ven, Conor Gallagher, Cristian Romero, Lucas Bergvall and Destiny Udogie all returning from injury or suspension in order to take on Atletico Madrid in midweek.

Striker Richarlison was suspended for the 3-2 success over Atletico, but he is set to lead the line this weekend, while Dominic Solanke and Joao Palhinha should have shaken off knocks to make the squad.

Tudor is still without Ben Davies, Mohammed Kudus, Rodrigo Bentancur, Yves Bissouma, Wilson Odobert, Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison.

Forest winger Dilane Bakwa will need to prove his fitness after being unable to play the full 90 minutes against FC Midtjylland. Pereira will be unable to call upon the services of Willy Boly, Chris Wood, Jair Cunha, Nicolo Savona and John Victor.

Spurs to win @ 13/10

Remarkably, Tottenham's last league win came in December and they are in a desperate situation with just eight games left of the campaign.

However, Spurs ended their eight-match winless run on Wednesday against Atletico and that followed a 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Anfield.

Spurs showed plenty of fight and determination in both games, and Tudor might finally be getting a tune out of his squad.

Forest were also victorious in midweek in Europe, but they have gone seven games without a win in the Premier League.

They have only won two of their last eight away games and Spurs' recent results suggest they may have too much for their relegation rivals.

Richarlison to score anytime @ 7/4

In a relegation fight, teams need leaders and people to stand up for the fight and striker Richarlison fits the bill.

The Brazilian has only started 14 of their 30 league games, but he has still managed to score nine goals during that time. His 10 goals in all competitions are unrivalled in the Spurs squad this season and he registered four shots on target against Liverpool in a game where Spurs were trying to play on the counter-attack.

Against Forest, Spurs should see more of the ball and Richarlison's recent form suggests he can make a difference.
