Premier League Stats & Best Bets for Week 24
- Brighton vs Everton
- Saturday, 15:00
Key stat: Brighton have conceded 55% of their Premier League goals this season in the first half of games (17/31), the highest share in the division. Indeed, the Seagulls have been behind at half-time more often than any other side this term (12).
Best bet: Another slightly underwhelming home performance from Everton on Monday, drawing with Leeds, but the Toffees have been imperious on the road in recent weeks, with five clean sheets in their last six Premier League away games, winning four. Brighton, in contrast, have only won one in 10 since the start of December and seem to have lost their spark. The away/draw Double Chance looks solid at just under evens but with the Seagulls struggling to get out of the blocks in most games, we'll back David Moyes' men to be winning at half-time at a chunky price.

- Leeds vs Arsenal
- Saturday, 15:00
Key stat: Eight of Leeds's last nine Premier League games at Elland Road have seen both teams score, with no team seeing a higher percentage of home games with goals at either end (73%).
Best bet: Leeds have lost just one of their last 10 Premier League games - with that defeat coming at Newcastle courtesy of two stoppage time goals - and probably should have won at Everton on Monday after dominating the first half. They'll be on the front foot from minute one against an Arsenal side who are winless in their last three and can find the net at the very least. But the Gunners have won their last six league games against Leeds by an aggregate score of 20-5 and should have enough in the end to take maximum points.

- Wolves vs Bournemouth
- Saturday, 15:00
Key stat: There have been five red cards in 11 Premier League meetings between Bournemouth and Wolves, one every 2.2 games. Of all fixtures to have been played more than 10 times, only Aston Villa vs Portsmouth averages a sending off more often.
Best bet: A tough game to call this, with Bournemouth on a bit of a roll after wins over Spurs and Liverpool but still having only one once away from home all season, while Wolves have lost one in five but still have a solitary win to their name. So we'll head to the card markets instead and back over 42.5 bookings points (25 for a red, 10 for a yellow). The Cherries are the third worst behaved club in the league with 55 yellows with Wolves not far behind on 49 bookings.

- Chelsea vs West Ham
- Saturday, 17:30
- Live on Sky Sports Premier League
Key stat: Seven of West Ham's last eight games have seen three goals or more, while Liam Rosenior's six matches as Chelsea manager have produced 23 goals (3.83 per game).
Best bet: West Ham have finally kicked their season into gear, with last weekend's win over Sunderland their third in a row in all competitions. The addition of frontmen Valentin Castellanos and Pablo Felipe has provided much-needed firepower to the Hammers, who have now scored eight in the last four. A result at a Chelsea side who will be flying after a superb comeback win in Naples may be a step too far but there should be goals in this one.

- Liverpool vs Newcastle
- Saturday, 20:00
- Live on TNT Sports
Key stat: Liverpool are winless in their last five Premier League games (D4 L1) and they are averaging just 1.45 goals per game at Anfield this term, their lowest in a campaign since 2011/12.
Best bet: The visit of Qarabag gave Liverpool some much-needed relief from their domestic woes as they ran out comfortable 6-0 winners but the Reds are still looking for their first league win of 2026 and were left reeling by a last-gasp winner at Bournemouth last time out. Newcastle suffered a rare home reverse against Villa last weekend but earned an excellent point at PSG in midweek and, with key man Bruno Guimaraes back, the Magpies can pick up a draw here to keep the pressure on Arne Slot.

- Aston Villa vs Brentford
- Sunday, 14:00
- Live on Sky Sports
Key stat: Aston Villa have never lost in 10 previous home league games against Brentford, while only Wolves have lost more Premier League away games than the Bees this season.
Best bet: Aston Villa's winning home run finally came to an end with defeat to Everton but they bounced back in style with an excellent win at Newcastle and were able to bench the likes of Morgan Rogers and Ezri Konsa on Thursday with Europa League knockout qualification guaranteed. Brentford's shock 2-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest made it two losses on the bounce for the Bees and they rarely turn up at Villa Park. I was surprised to see Villa as big as 19/20 here but we can boost that into odds-against territory by adding over 1.5 goals and that's the play.

- Manchester United vs Fulham
- Sunday, 14:00
Key stat: In the last two seasons, only Mohamed Salah and Erling Haaland have had a hand in more Premier League goals than Bryan Mbeumo, while Harry Wilson has been involved in 10 goals in his last 11 Premier League appearances for Fulham.
Best bet: A picture-perfect start to life for Michael Carrick as Man Utd interim boss with a win over the local rivals and a last-gasp victory over the league leaders but in many ways the hard work starts here. Fulham have won five of their last eight, losing just one, with the run including victory over Chelsea and a draw with Liverpool. United look a touch short here at 4/7 so we'll swerve the match odds and focus on two key attacking players. We can get 7/5 by backing Bryan Mbeumo and Harry Wilson simply to have a shot on target each and that looks a big price.
Bet: Back Bryan Mbuemo and Harry Wilson to have 1+ shots on target at 7/5 via our Bet Builder on the Manchester United vs Fulham Odds page on betfred.com
- Nottingham Forest vs Crystal Palace
- Sunday, 14:00
Key stat: Crystal Palace have never won in 11 previous Premier League meetings with Nottingham Forest. It's both the most they've ever faced a side without winning and the most Forest have faced a side without losing in the competition.
Best bet: After Nottingham Forest took Crystal Palace's place in the Europa League this season over a paperwork error, this contest promised to become a bit of a grudge match but Eagles fans have probably got too much on their mind to think about new rivals right now. With Marc Guehi now departed and Oliver Glasner with his bag half packed, it could be a nervy end to the season in SE25. Forest picked up an excellent win at Brentford last time out and we'll back them to take maximum points without too much fuss here.

- Tottenham vs Manchester City
- Sunday, 16:30
- Live on Sky Sports
Key stat: Thomas Frank has won just four of his last 22 home Premier League matches, with an identical record across his last 11 games with Brentford as in his first 11 with Spurs (W2 D3 L6).
Best bet: Tottenham cruised to a 2-0 win in Frankfurt in midweek securing a top-four spot in the Champions League group stage table, but their domestic form remains utterly wretched with only a late Cristian Romero header saving their blushes at Burnley last weekend. Spurs are in many ways Man City's bogey side - Pep Guardiola has lost more games against them than any other side (8) - but it's hard to see this version of Tottenham doing much damage. We'll back the Blues to keep up the pressure on the hosts' north London neighbours.

- Sunderland vs Burnley
- Monday, 20:00
- Live on Sky Sports
Key stat: Sunderland have only won one of their last seven Premier League matches, while Burnley are undefeated in four in all competitions.
Best bet: Burnley's draw with Spurs last weekend made it three undefeated games on the bounce against Big Six sides for Scott Parker's men, following the 2-2 against Man Utd and the excellent point at Anfield. They travel to a Sunderland side who were blown away in the first half against West Ham last time out and have only beaten crisis club Crystal Palace in their last seven outings. We'll back the Clarets to make it four stalemates in a row here.
