Premier League Predictions: West Ham to pick up a crucial three points on Tyneside

There's been a huge twist in our Betfred Insights Premier League Predictions title race. I (Conor) have moved one point ahead of Nick, who has led the way for the majority of the season with just two rounds of fixtures left to play.

Villa 1-1 Liverpool @ 7/1
Aston Villa and Liverpool are both locked on 59 points in the Premier League but neither side comes into Friday's clash at Villa Park in great form. The hosts are winless in three while the Reds are two matches without a win.
Villa are just thinking about their UEFA Europa League final against Freiburg on Wednesday so we could see a few key players rested here. However, I wouldn't back Liverpool to take advantage, so I am going for a draw.
Nick: 1-2
Simon: 0-0
Man United 2-2 Forest @ 14/1
Nottingham Forest have maintained their top-flight status and so they can go and play with freedom at Manchester United on Saturday. The Tricky Trees are eight matches unbeaten in the league, while it's four games without defeat for United - three of which have been wins.
I fancy a high-scoring stalemate at Old Trafford.
Nick: 3-1
Simon: 3-1
Brentford 2-2 Palace @ 12/1
I am expecting something similar at Brentford, with the Bees hosting Crystal Palace at the Gtech Community Stadium. Both sides have a lot of attacking talent and the hosts have drawn five of their previous eight fixtures in the Premier League.
Nick: 2-1
Simon: 3-1
Everton 1-1 Sunderland @ 13/2
Don't mind me, just another draw. Everton and Sunderland meet at the Hill Dickinson Stadium and both sides have drawn their past two matches in the league. They have experienced 22 stalemates between them this campaign and I think this seems the most likely outcome on Saturday.
Cue 2-1 Everton (which was the score I deliberated on).
Nick: 2-1
Simon: 2-1

Leeds 1-2 Brighton @ 15/2
Leeds United can sleep easy as they will be playing Premier League football next year. Their final match of the season at Elland Road sees them welcome Brighton & Hove Albion, who are fighting for a return to Europe.
The hosts have nothing but pride to play for so I think I will give the Seagulls the edge here.
Nick: 2-2
Simon: 2-2
Wolves 0-0 Fulham @ 11/1
Wolves boss Rob Edwards said he can't wait to offload a number of his players in the summer once they return to the Championship. The Old Gold face Fulham at Molineux.
Neither side is having much joy in front of goal. They have both blanked in four of their past five league matches, and I am going for a bold 0-0 prediction in the West Midlands.
Nick: 0-2
Simon: 1-1
Newcastle 1-2 West Ham @ 10/1
This scoreline is pure hope on my part. I am desperate for Tottenham Hotspur to get relegated from the Premier League and for that to happen I need two big results from West Ham United.
The Irons were denied a late equaliser at league leaders Arsenal on Sunday, which sparked fury up and down the country. Nuno Espirito Santo's side now head to Newcastle United, who are unbeaten in their previous two outings in the top flight.
The Magpies have no extra motivations to drive them in this contest so I am praying for a miracle Hammers victory.
Nick: 2-2
Simon: 1-1

Arsenal 3-0 Burnley @ 11/2
Arsenal have just two games left between them and their first Premier League title since 2004. On Monday, they host relegated Burnley at the Emirates. The Clarets have lost five of their five most recent matches in the league, while the Gunners are on a three-game winning streak in the top flight.
A comfortable home win.
Nick: 3-0
Simon: 4-0
Bournemouth 2-2 Man City @ 11/1
AFC Bournemouth are 16 games unbeaten in the Premier League and I think the Cherries can deal the crushing blow to Manchester City's title hopes at the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday.
City were held to a draw on their most recent away trip at Everton and they are arguably facing tougher opponents in Bournemouth this time around.
Nick: 1-3
Simon: 1-2
Chelsea 1-1 Tottenham @ 7/1
A London derby also takes place on Tuesday as Chelsea and Tottenham collide at Stamford Bridge. The Blues were able to snap a six-game losing streak in the league by drawing against Liverpool at Anfield last time out.
Spurs are unbeaten in four as they bid to avoid an embarrassing relegation to the Championship. If Chelsea are at the races, which they should in an attempt try and relegate one of their biggest rivals, I think they can grab a point on home turf.
Nick: 1-1
Simon: 2-1
