Premier League Predictions: Can Arsenal hold their nerve?

Simon had the best set of predictions in the last round of Premier League action with two correct scores, while myself and Nick didn't manage a single one.
Attention now turns to Gameweek 19, with some interesting games in store. Check out our latest score predictions below.

Burnley vs Newcastle - 1-1 @ 13/2
Burnley have recorded back-to-back draws in the league, ending a seven-game losing streak in the top flight. The Clarets will look for something similar when they host Newcastle United at Turf Moor.
The Magpies are winless in three Premier League matches heading into this clash, having suffered a 1-0 defeat at Manchester United on Boxing Day. I'm not convinced by either side at the moment and I think they will share the spoils.
Simon: 0-2
Nick: 1-3
Chelsea vs Bournemouth - 2-1 @ 7/1
Chelsea threw away a 1-0 lead to lose at home against Aston Villa last time out and Enzo Maresca came under criticism for his in-game changes. The Blues welcome AFC Bournemouth to Stamford Bridge next, with the Cherries now winless in nine league appearances.
They were hammered 4-1 at Brentford last time out and I think they fall to a narrow defeat in west London.
Simon: 2-1
Nick: 2-3
Forest vs Everton - 1-0 @ 11/2
Everton may have beaten Nottingham Forest 3-0 on Merseyside earlier in the month but the Toffees head into the rematch without a goal in their previous three outings in the Premier League.
Forest put up a decent fight against Manchester City at the City Ground on Saturday and I can see them getting their revenge on Everton in the East Midlands on Tuesday.
Simon: 2-2
Nick: 1-2
West Ham vs Brighton - 1-1 @ 6/1
West Ham United are in a right pickle as they suffered a third consecutive defeat at home to Fulham on Saturday. The Irons are in action at the London Stadium again on Tuesday as Brighton & Hove Albion make the trip.
The Hammers are winless in seven top-flight appearances, while the Seagulls are without a victory in five themselves. Neither side has been particularly impressive this term and I think both would take a point here.
Simon: 0-1
Nick: 1-2

Arsenal vs Villa - 2-1 @ 7/1
This is unquestionably the fixture of the round and in Arsenal's case, one that they cannot afford to lose. Villa won the reverse fixture at Villa Park late on earlier in the month, propelling them into the title race and putting a dent in the Gunners' charge.
Former Arsenal boss Unai Emery has led the Villans to an 11-game winning streak in all competitions but heading to the Emirates will be a tough test for them. Arsenal are one of two teams yet to lose at home this season and they tend to be much stronger in their own backyard.
This will be a tough test for both teams but I think the hosts can edge this.
Simon: 2-1
Nick: 1-1
Man United vs Wolves - 3-1 @ 10/1
After beating Newcastle on Boxing Day, Man United will look to build on that when Wolves head to Old Trafford on Tuesday. The Old Gold remain scrambling for their first win of the campaign and are currently on an 11-game losing streak in the Premier League.
This is a game United cannot afford to mess up but after beating Wolves 4-1 earlier in the month, they should be able to get the job done on home soil.
Simon: 3-0
Nick: 3-1
Crystal Palace vs Fulham - 1-2 @ 10/1
Crystal Palace were 2-1 winners at Fulham earlier in the month but as they prepare to meet for the second clash at Selhurst Park, they are in conflicting form. The Eagles have since gone on to lose their last three league matches, while Fulham have won three on the spin.
Another tight affair is expected here but given the current circumstances, I fancy the Cottagers to get their own back on the home team.
Simon: 0-0
Nick: 1-1
Odds correct at time of publishing.
Liverpool vs Leeds - 2-2 @ 14/1
Have Liverpool turned things around? It looks that way following three successive wins in the Premier League and the defending champions will look to keep on going when Leeds United head to Anfield.
These two teams played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at Elland Road earlier in the month and the Whites are unbeaten in five heading into this. I think the visitors are starting to grow, too, and they are posing problems for everyone they face at the minute.
Liverpool may be on the right track but three points aren't assured here, especially given Dominic Calvert-Lewin's form.
Simon: 1-2
Nick: 3-1
Brentford vs Spurs - 3-1 @ 8/1
Brentford's impressive home form continued as they cruised to a 4-1 victory against Bournemouth last time out. The Bees will look to sting Tottenham Hotspur next as they are the latest side to head to the Gtech Community Stadium.
Thomas Frank returns to his old stomping ground and he will know firsthand what to expect here. Spurs may have won at Palace but I still think they are a long way off where they want to be and Brentford are formidable on their own patch.
Simon: 1-1
Nick: 2-2
Sunderland vs Man City - 1-2 @ 7/1
Since losing 3-0 to Man City at the Etihad Stadium, Sunderland have gone three games unbeaten in the top flight. They will look for revenge against the Citizens on Thursday as they collide at the Stadium of Light.
The Black Cats are the other team yet to taste defeat on home soil, but it will be difficult to keep that record intact against the Citizens, who are gunning for a seventh consecutive victory in the top flight.
Simon: 1-3
Nick: 1-3
