Premier League Predictions: Will Villa keep up winning run?

It is Christmas time and although we only have one Boxing Day fixture this year - we should still see plenty of Premier League action over the festive season.
It’s Gameweek 18, and below you can find my Premier League Predictions, as I take on Conor and Nick once again.
Simon's Premier League Predictions - Gameweek 18
- Manchester United 2-1 Newcastle @ 8/1
- Nottingham Forest 1-3 Man City @ 11/1
- West Ham 1-0 Fulham @ 17/2
- Brentford 1-1 Bournemouth @ 6/1
- Liverpool 2-1 Wolves @ 8/1
- Arsenal 2-0 Brighton @ 6/1
- Burnley 0-0 Everton @ 8/1
- Chelsea 2-2 Aston Villa @ 12/1
- Sunderland 1-2 Leeds @ 9/1
- Crystal Palace 1-1 Tottenham @ 11/2
Odds correct at the time of publication
Manchester United 2-1 Newcastle @ 8/1
I think Manchester United are actually performing reasonably well with the results. They were good at Aston Villa until Morgan Rogers stole the show, and showed great attacking intent in the 4-4 with Bournemouth. Even without Bruno Fernandes, they should have enough to beat Newcastle.
Nick: 1-3
Conor: 2-2
Nottingham Forest 1-3 Man City @ 11/1
Manchester City are flying right now and Erling Haaland is scoring goals for fun. City have the title in their sights and are locked in, while Forest fell to a narrow defeat on Monday night. I can’t see the hosts getting anything out of this one.
Nick: 0-3
Conor: 0-3
West Ham 1-0 Fulham @ 17/2
Fulham edged past Forest thanks to a Raul Jimenez penalty, and they’ve now won two PL matches on the bounce. However, this trip across the capital to face a West Ham team that hasn’t won in six could prove to be a banana skin. I don’t think there will be many goals, but just fancy the hosts to edge it.
Nick: 1-1
Conor: 1-2

Brentford 1-1 Bournemouth @ 6/1
Bournemouth just can’t win right now. Eight wins without a win has left them 15th and now it looks as though Antoine Semenyo could be leaving in January. I think they are still competitive having drawn seven this season, while Brentford are just Brentford. Draw.
Nick: 1-1
Conor: 3-2
Liverpool 2-1 Wolves @ 8/1
Liverpool have been ravaged by injuries, suspensions and a headline Afcon absentee in Mo Salah, so they are looking a little short for this one. However, Wolves have picked up just two points this season and haven’t improved with Rob Edwards at the helm. Narrow and nervy home win.
Nick: 4-1
Conor: 3-0
Arsenal 2-0 Brighton @ 6/1
I back Arsenal to win every game 2-0 pretty much. Three wins in a row has got them back on track and they edged past Everton last time out. Brighton sit ninth but are winless in four and I think the Gunners will keep on winning in this home fixture.
Nick: 2-2
Conor: 2-0

Burnley 0-0 Everton @ 8/1
Boring. Burnley ended their dreadful losing run with a 1-1 draw at Bournemouth last time out, while Everton lost at home to Arsenal. I can see this being a dour affair on Boxing Day.
Nick: 0-2
Conor 0-2
Chelsea 2-2 Aston Villa @ 12/1
This should be a cracker. Villa have won their last 10 games in a row, and Rogers is scoring goals for fun - but Chelsea are a tricky opponent. Having drawn 2-2 with Newcastle, I’m going to back a repeat of that scoreline here - as Villa surely have to stop winning at some point… don’t they?
Nick: 2-1
Conor: 2-3
Sunderland 1-2 Leeds @ 9/1
Go on Leeds. Sunderland have lost the most players to Afcon and a Sunderland player hasn’t scored a goal in their last three outings (hat tip Nick Woltemade). That lack of threat could see them come undone against a Leeds outfit that is unbeaten in four and scoring goals for fun.
Nick: 2-1
Conor: 2-2
Crystal Palace 1-1 Tottenham @ 11/2
Draw written all over it.
Nick: 2-3
Conor: 2-1
