Crystal Palace vs Arsenal Prediction: Under 2.5 Goals to strike again in this fixture

Arsenal will officially be crowned Premier League champions on Sunday when they travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace (4pm, Sky Sports Premier League). The Gunners sealed their first title in 22 years because Manchester City failed to beat AFC Bournemouth on Tuesday.
It is hard to gauge this game because both sides are gearing up for European finals next week, so I'll do my best with the Crystal Palace vs Arsenal predictions. Check out my betting tips below, as well as the latest team news and match odds.

Team News
Former Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah remains sidelined for Palace with a hamstring injury. Chris Richards (ankle), Borna Sosa (knock) and Cheick Doucoure (knee) are also in the treatment room.
The Eagles will likely be looking ahead to Wednesday's UEFA Conference League final against Rayo Vallecano, so Oliver Glasner might opt to rest some of his key personnel on Sunday, including Ismaila Sarr and Adam Wharton.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta may be of a similar thinking as they prepare for their UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain next Saturday. Centre-back pairing Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba could be rested, along with Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka.
It will be telling of who Arteta intends to start up front in Budapest based on who of Kai Havertz or Viktor Gyokeres leads the line against Palace.
Ben White (knee) Riccardo Calafiori (knock), Mikel Merino (foot) and Jurrien Timber (ankle) are ruled out through injury.
Crystal Palace vs Arsenal Predicted Lineups
- Crystal Palace: Henderson; Clyne, Lacroix, Lerma; Munoz, Hughes, Kamada; Mitchell; Johnson, Strand Larsen, Pino
- Arsenal: Kepa; Mosquera, Saliba, Hincapie, Lewis-Skelly; Zubimendi, Norgaard, Eze; Madueke, Havertz, Martinelli
Crystal Palace vs Arsenal Odds
Palace have not won any of the previous nine meetings in all competitions but they are 16/5 to buck the trend on Sunday.
The draw is priced at 11/4 and the Eagles have drawn three of their last four home games in the top flight.
Arsenal are a 4/5 bet to make it five league wins in a row.
Four of the previous five meetings have seen both teams score, with BTTS - Yes marketed at 8/13 this time around.
Crystal Palace vs Arsenal Stats
- Palace have drawn 3 of their last 4 home matches in the Premier League
- Both meetings this season went Under 2.5 Goals
- 3 of Arsenal's past 4 league fixtures have featured fewer than 3 goals
Match Result - Draw @ 11/4
I'm not expecting either team to name strong XIs on Sunday as they are likely looking to be as fresh as possible for their respective finals. It may be Arsenal's big day with the trophy presentation but I think a draw is the most likely result.
This is because Palace have experienced three stalemates across their four most recent home outings in the top flight, while this was the outcome inside 90 minutes when they met in the League Cup back in December.

Total Goals - Under 2.5 Goals @ 5/4
Three of Arsenal's last four matches in the Premier League have featured one goal, so Under 2.5 Goals at 5/4 (implied probability of 44.4%) looks a smart play at Selhurst Park. This has also been a winning selection in both the previous two meetings this term, as well as three of Palace's past four league games on home soil.
