Injuries have not helped Burnley's cause, with Zeki Amdouni, Jordan Beyer, Josh Cullen, Connor Roberts and Hannibal all expected to miss out on Saturday's game.
Mike Tresor and Axel Tuanzebe are both doubts, while Josh Laurent is suspended following his red card in the 3-1 defeat at Fulham before the international break.
As for the Seagulls, Stefanos Tzimas remains out with an ACL injury, while Adam Webster is also a long-term absentee with his own knee ligament issue.
Experienced defender Lewis Dunk is suspended for the weekend after accumulating 10 yellow cards across the season.

Burnley vs Brighton Odds
Burnley are the 18/5 underdogs for the win on Saturday, while Brighton are 8/11 favourites to take the three points back to the south coast.
A draw at Turf Moor is 3/1, while Brighton to be leading at the half-time and full-time whistles are 8/5.
Brighton to win & Under 2.5 goals @ 10/3
Winning 2-0 at the Amex Stadium against Burnley earlier this season, Brighton look capable of completing the double over the Clarets this weekend.
The Seagulls are in excellent form, with four wins in their last five games before the international break.
The home side, on the other hand, have won just once in their last 22 Premier League games and life in the Championship awaits Scott Parker’s side, barring a miracle.
Brighton to win and under 2.5 total goals would have landed in the Seagulls' last two away games against Brentford and Sunderland and there's value to be had backing the trend to continue at Turf Moor.

Danny Welbeck anytime goalscorer @ 6/5
Having scored four goals in his last five Premier League games, veteran striker Danny Welbeck could be making a late push to be involved in England’s 2026 World Cup squad.
The 35-year-old, who has scored 12 goals in the Premier League this term, backed up strikes against Brentford and Nottingham Forest with a brace in a 2-1 home win over Liverpool last time out.
Currently in great form, Welbeck to add another goal to his Premier League tally this weekend catches the eye at odds of 6/5.
