Burnley vs Bournemouth Prediction: Cherries should dispatch struggling Clarets

Time is running out for Burnley and they could fall closer to a third relegation from the Premier League in five years with a home defeat against mid-table Bournemouth at Turf Moor on Saturday (15:00 kick-off).
The Clarets are nine points from safety in 19th place and have even begun looking over their shoulders as rock-bottom Wolves have closed to within three points of them.
Bournemouth are in a comfortable position in the top half of the table in ninth place and will be looking for a full return from this game after drawing their last three top-flight fixtures against West Ham, Sunderland and Brentford. Below are my Burnley vs Bournemouth predictions, complete with all the latest team news and match odds.

Team News
Burnley will be missing Zeki Amdouni, Josh Cullen, Axel Tuanzebe, Mike Tresor, Connor Roberts and Jordan Beyer due to injuries, while Armando Broja, Zian Flemming and Marcus Edwards will need to be assessed before the team is named.
Bournemouth are without Justin Kluivert, Lewis Cook, Ben Gannon-Doak and Julio Soler. Eli Junior Kroupi has a chance to come into the side but Andoni Iraola is unlikely to make any changes to his solid defence.
Burnley vs Bournemouth Predicted Lineups
- Burnley: Dubravka; Humphreys, Worrall, Esteve; Walker, Ugochukwu, Florentino, Hannibal, Pires; Anthony, Foster
- Bournemouth: Petrovic; Jimenez, Hill, Senesi, Truffert; Adams, Scott; Rayan, Kroupi, Tavernier; Evanilson
Bournemouth are the favourites on the road at 5/6, with Burnley home underdogs at 3/1, and the draw the same price.
Over 2.5 goals is available at 4/6, while under 2.5 is on offer at 11/10. It's 4/6 that both teams score in the game and 11/10 that one or both teams fail to get on the scoresheet.
Match Result - Bournemouth @ 9/10
Bournemouth have become the Premier League's draw specialists with 13 of their 29 matches ending with the scores level, but they will be disappointed if they don't go away from Turf Moor having added three points to their tally.
The Cherries are one of the few sides who haven't beaten Burnley in the top flight this season as the Clarets scored a 90th-minute equaliser to draw 1-1 in the teams' first encounter of the campaign in December, but they can put that right in Lancashire.
Bournemouth are on a nine-match unbeaten run in the league, and while that includes five draws, the last team to beat them were leaders Arsenal in their first game of 2026 and they will see this as a key fixture in their bid for a top-half finish.
Burnley have won only one of their last nine matches, which includes an FA Cup exit to League One Mansfield, and after going down 4-3 to Brentford in their last home outing, their attack failed to fire again in a 2-0 defeat at Everton.

Under 2.5 goals @ 11/10
Bournemouth have been solid but not spectacular of late and a low-scoring victory for the visitors looks a likely outcome.
The Cherries' last three games have featured only two goals in total and neither of these sides scored in their last outing.
The visitors should do better than that against the struggling hosts but they may not need to go goal crazy to secure a victory.
