Wolves are gunning for a third consecutive victory in the Premier League when they travel to the Gtech Community Stadium to face Brentford on Monday (20:00 GMT, Sky Sports Main Event).

Fabio Carvalho, Antoni Milambo and Josh Dasilva (all knee) remain long-term absentees for Brentford due to injury. Rico Henry, Aaron Hickey (both thigh) and Vitaly Janelt (ankle) are also ruled out for this contest.

Wolves will be hoping goalkeeper Jose Sa will be declared fit to return between the sticks in place of Sam Johnstone. Enso Gonzalez is still out with a knee issue but other than that, Rob Edwards has no other concerns for Monday.

He is the Bees' biggest threat in front of goal and given their downturn in form at home, they will look to him for inspiration on Monday night. Nine of his goals have come at the Gtech, while he was on the scoresheet in his second-most recent outing in the top flight at Burnley.

Against a Wolves side who are yet to win on their travels, the centre-forward should fancy his chances to add to his impressive tally.

Kevin Schade, one of Thiago's supporting partners in attack, was very busy in the reverse fixture at Molineux. The German attacker was constantly found in dangerous spaces and he was able to register three shots on target, so I believe he can manage one on this occasion.

Wolves midfielder Joao Gomes is one booking away from a two-game suspension, but there is a good chance he picks that up on Monday. The Brazilian was carded when the sides met back in December, and heads into this contest having been shown a yellow in last week's triumph over Liverpool.

It may be too late for them to stay up but two consecutive victories have lifted Wolves. There has been steady progress under Edwards but the results didn't always line up with performances.

Now they have just taken down Aston Villa and Liverpool, two of the sides in the top six. Could seventh-place Brentford be next? The Old Gold will be aware of Brentford's current struggles on home turf, so the first goal here might be crucial.

Wolves have scored first in their last two outings in the top flight, while the Bees have conceded the opening goal in each of their previous three home games in the league. I think Wolves are a good price to open proceedings on Monday.
