Portsmouth vs Burnley Prediction: Another defensive masterclass on the cards?

Burnley will be hoping they can record yet another shutout when they head to relegation-threatened Portsmouth in the Championship on Saturday afternoon (15:00).
Read on for my Portsmouth vs Burnley predictions, featuring the latest team news and match odds.
Portsmouth vs Burnley Predictions
Portsmouth are the 4/1 outsiders to record a seventh home win of the campaign against 4/5 favourites Burnley, who haven't lost on the road since the start of November. The draw is priced at 12/5.
Under 1.5 goals, which has landed in five of Burnley's last six league matches, is available at 2/1.
Team News
Portsmouth still have a lengthy injury list, with Ibane Bowat, Regan Poole, Jacob Farrell, Mark O'Mahony, Kusini Yengi and Paddy Lane all still sidelined.
Conor Shaughnessy came off the bench in defeat to Millwall last time out and he is pushing for a place in the starting XI, along with the likes of Andre Dozzell and Thomas Waddingham.
The Clarets remain without the services of Jordan Beyer, Enock Agyei, Nathan Redmond, Manuel Benson and Aaron Ramsey due to injury.
Burnley to win to nil @ 13/8
Burnley recorded their seventh successive clean sheet in the Championship on Monday evening, holding the division's top goalscorers Leeds to a 0-0 draw at Turf Moor, and Scott Parker's side look capable of registering another shutout.
The Clarets haven't conceded on the road in their last four league outings, while the 2-1 victory at Norwich in mid-December is the only goal they have let in in the previous eight away assignments in England's second tier.
Parker's side are yet to reach double figures in the goals against department, conceding just nine times in the Championship, and they should have the defensive strength to overcome a Pompey side on a two-game losing streak.
Of Burnley's 15 league wins, 11 of those have come with clean sheets and another victory to nil could be on the cards.

Portsmouth to receive the most booking points @ 23/20
Portsmouth have not backed away from a challenge this season and that has resulted in 71 yellow cards being picked up, the third-highest behind Preston (80) and Stoke (72).
Pompey have received the most booking points in five of their last eight matches in all competitions and that aggressive nature looks set to be on full show against a resolute Burnley, who haven't been shown a card in their last two outings.
The Clarets have ended with most booking points in just one of their last five fixtures, and they should be able to keep the referee's gaze away from them and focus on the hosts.
