Poland vs Ukraine Prediction: A score draw looks the play in Wroclaw

Neither Poland or Ukraine have the luxury of treating their friendly in Wroclaw on Sunday (5:30pm local/4:30pm BST) as a warm-up to the FIFA World Cup as both failed to qualify.

Arkadiusz Pyrka looks set to earn his third cap for Poland at right wing-back because there is no Matty Cash in the squad.

Tomasz Kedziora can rival Przemyslaw Wisniewski for a place in the back three. Legendary striker Robert Lewandowski is set to lead the line on Sunday.

Andriy Yarmolenko is in contention for his 125th Ukraine cap, while Artem Dovbyk may start over Roman Yaremchuk up front.

Both these sides suffered play-off heartache in pursuit of a spot at the World Cup but they have both been in decent form of late. Poland and Ukraine have both posted four victories from their past six outings and this has me thinking they may cancel each other out on Sunday.

Poland have dominated this fixture in recent meetings, having won each of the previous three, but Ukraine have been showing they are a tough nut to crack these days. I believe they can hold their own and earn a draw in Wroclaw.

Poland and Ukraine possess capable goalscorers in Lewandowski and Dovbyk respectively. Both could have an impact in this contest if the chances fall to them, and so I am also backing both teams to score on Sunday.
