Milwall take on Leeds United at The Den in the EFL Championship on Wednesday (19:45, Sky Sports+), looking to extend their winning streak to four matches. The Lions defeated promotion-chasers Burnley last time out, so they will be hoping for the same agains the Whites.

This will be a tough test for Leeds because they have drawn their last three away games, and Millwall have shown great improvement in recent weeks. Read on for my Millwall vs Leeds United prediction, featuring match odds and team news.

Millwall vs Leeds United Betting Tips

  • Draw @ 5/2
  • Both teams to score @ 1/1

Millwall vs Leeds United Odds

Millwall are 3/1 to claim their fourth win in a row, which gives them a theoretical chance of 25%. Leeds are priced at 10/11 to take the three points, giving them an implied probability of 52.4%. The draw is on offer at 5/2 (28.6%).

Both teams to score is available at 1/1 and over 2.5 goals can be backed at 5/4.

Millwall's Duncan Watmore and Leeds' Joel Piroe have both scored five goals in the Championship this season, and they are 7/2 and 11/5 respectively to score anytime on Wednesday night.

Team News

Millwall are still missing Billy Mitchell and Tom Bradshaw due to injury, but they have welcomed back Shaun Hutchinson and Josh Coburn following their own spells on the sidelines.

Veteran Murray Wallace looks set to come into the side on Wednesday because Joe Bryan is suspended for accumulating five yellow cards before the amnesty threshold. He would join Jake Cooper, Japhet Tanganga and Ryan Leonard in the back four.

Casper De Norre and George Savile will continue in the middle of the park, while Watmore will be hoping to return to the side as the team's top scorer in the league. Macaulay Langstaff led the line at the weekend, supported by Romain Esse, Femi Azeez and George Honeyman.

Leeds have a few key players out injured, including Ethan Ampadu, Ilia Gruev and Largie Ramazani. Jayden Bogle returns from suspension, so he should go straight back into the team at right-back.

Joe Rothwell and Ao Tanaka should continue in the engine room, but recent signing Joshua Guilavogui will be eager for his first start after making his debut at the weekend against Plymouth Argyle. Piroe looks set to lead the line once again over Mateo Joseph, while the Dutchman should be supported by Dan James and Willy Gnonto.

Draw @ 5/2

When it comes to the Championship, The Den is regarded as one of the toughest places to visit and come away with three points, so I think that Leeds are going to be in for another tough battle on the road against the in-form Lions.

After winning three on the bounce, confidence has grown significantly in Neil Harris' squad, particularly after their win over the Clarets last time out. They will feel as though they can pull off another upset against a side hoping to return to the Premier League.

The hosts' recent form has been excellent, but it is also Leeds' last few matches on the road that have helped influence me here. They have drawn their last three away matches in the league as it appears that they are much stronger when playing at Elland Road.

Daniel Farke knows that his side needs more victories away from home if they are to go up this year, but I don't think they will start here with the way Millwall are playing right now.

I think this will end up being a close encounter, with very little to separate the two teams, and this will stem from the Lions being set up to frustrate the visitors.

Both teams to score @ 1/1

I do think we will see goals in this fixture, though, and I am confident we will see goals at both ends. BTTS has been a winning selection in three of Millwall's seven league matches at The Den this term.

Their last three matches have all been won by 1-0 scorelines but I can't see that trend continuing because of the quality that Leeds have in attacking areas. Where Burnley failed, I'm sure the Whites will succeed and get on the scoresheet against the Lions.

Leeds have seen just two of their six away matches in the Championship produce goals at both ends, but they are facing one of the most in-form sides in the division who are causing problems for everyone they come up against at the moment.
