Malta vs Andorra Prediction: Midfield maestro to inspire Maltese victory

Malta face Andorra in the Nations League on Tuesday (19:45 KO) at the Ta' Qali National Stadium and the visitors are hoping to snap their losing run in Group D2.
Read on for my Malta vs Andorra predictions, complete with the latest match odds and team news.
Malta vs Andorra Predictions
Malta have won their last three matches and are 4/7 (63.6% implied probability) to extend that streak against 13/2 (13.3%) visitors Andorra.
The draw is a 5/2 (28.6%) chance and a 1-0 Malta victory, which was a winning bet in two of their last three internationals, can be backed at 3/1 in the Correct Score market.
Team News
Malta's defence is depleted by injuries to captain Steve Borg and fellow veteran Enrico Pepe. Former Australia Under-23 international Trent Buhagiar made his Malta debut last month and should start in attack.
Andorra's Ian Olivera suffered an injury against Moldova last week so Kiko Pomares could come into the back three.
Half-Time/Full-Time - Draw/Malta @ 11/4
Moldova's superior head-to-head record against Malta means they are guaranteed top spot in Nations League Group D2, earning automatic promotion to League C.
Second-placed Malta face a promotion play-off against a League C side in March and they can finish their campaign with a home win over struggling Andorra.
The visitors are bottom of the table after losing their first three matches and they have suffered defeats to nil in seven of their last eight internationals.
The exception was last month's 2-0 friendly win over San Marino, although Andorra's defence held out until the 92nd minute of Saturday's home fixture against Moldova before conceding the only goal of the game.
Frustrating Malta will be the main objective for Andorra and they are worth backing to stand firm until half-time.
Malta had to wait until the 45th minute to break through in September's 1-0 win in the reverse fixture and four of Spain's five goals in June's friendly rout of Andorra came in the second half.

Teddy Teuma to score first @ 13/2
Andorra have scored only three times in their last 15 matches and Malta are also short of prolific forwards.
Last week's 2-0 friendly win over Liechtenstein was sealed by a late own goal and midfielder Teddy Teuma scored an 87th-minute penalty to see off Moldova 1-0 in their last Nations League outing.
Teuma had three shots in that game, also hitting the woodwork, and he is a tempting price to open the scoring on Tuesday.
The 31-year-old, who has scored four goals in 39 international appearances, plays his club football for Reims in Ligue 1 so should be a cut above most other players on show.
Teuma scored 10 goals in 36 league starts for Union Saint-Gilloise in the Belgian top flight in 2022-23 and has notched seven times in 27 starts in his first two seasons for Reims.
