Draw or Northampton double chance @ 21/20
Lincoln are understandably favourites for this game after a solid home success over Stockport on Saturday, but Northampton will have gained plenty of confidence from their three-game unbeaten run in the league and are capable of taking at least a point.
The Imps have now won three of their six home league games this season, but in addition to their defeats by Barnsley and Birmingham in the league, they have also gone down to League 2 Harrogate in the Carabao Cup and Chesterfield in the EFL Trophy in Tuesday night games.
Last Tuesday saw them lose 3-0 at Crawley in their most perplexing result of the season, while they got a helping hand from Stockport on Saturday when County goalkeeper Corey Addai's poor clearance set up their equaliser and led to him being substituted at half-time.
Northampton have had some shaky performances in the league this year, conceding four goals in back-to-back games against Bolton and Wrexham at the start of this month, but they have also had some solid away results, notably when winning 3-1 at Huddersfield and drawing at Barnsley and Stockport.
The Cobblers won this fixture 2-1 last December and look overpriced in the betting given their improved run of form that has seen them concede just one goal in their last four games - and that was a hotly-disputed penalty at Stockport.
Town have not won back-to-back league games this season, while Lincoln have not won successive home league matches since March, so the draw looks a strong contender and a double chance bet on the visitors appeals.

Over 2.5 goals @ 10/11
Lincoln's last five matches have all produced at least three goals, as have six of their eight home games in all competitions this season.
The Imps have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last six matches and another high-scoring game with both teams likely contributing to the total looks likely.
Northampton have found some defensive solidity in recent matches, but they have already conceded 18 goals in 12 league games and have kept only three clean sheets in those matches.
The teams' league meetings last season produced seven goals, with a 2-2 draw in Northampton and a 2-1 win for the Cobblers in Lincoln and another lively encounter is on the cards with both teams possessing some talented forwards.
