Leeds United are looking to keep up the pressure on the top two against a Swansea side on the slide on Wednesday evening (19:45).

The former were kicking themselves for failing to win at struggling Rotherham last Friday so will be desperate to make amends at fortress Elland Road.

Swansea are on a run of just one win in six and are well aware that Daniel Farke's side boast the sole unbeaten home record left in the Championship.

Leeds vs Swansea Tips

  • Leeds to win & both teams to score @ 9/5
  • Jerry Yates to score anytime @ 7/2
  • Corner handicap - Leeds -3 @ 11/10

Match Odds

Leeds are a prohibitive 1/3 to claim all three points at Elland Road on Wednesday. Swansea can be backed at 15/2 to cause an upset - while the Draw is a 4/1 shot.

Betfred's traders are split on whether both teams will score, with both 'Yes' and 'No' priced at 5/6.

Team News

Pascal Struijk is fit again to replace Liam Cooper though Charlie Cresswell could also step into Leeds' back four. Daniel Farke will consider starts for Willy Gnonto and Patrick Bamford with three games in a week.

Swansea welcome wide front man Liam Cullen back from suspension. Josh Key is fit to be restored at right-back in place of Harrison Ashby, who lasted only ten minutes against Hull on Saturday.

Leeds to win & both teams to score @ 9/5

Leeds's form in front of their own supporters this season has been exemplary with five wins and three draws from eight home matches – the last unbeaten home record in the Championship.

But with Leicester and Ipswich continuing to blaze a trail at the top, Daniel Farke knows there can be no let-ups, especially after Friday's 1-1 draw at Rotherham, which was very definitely a case of two points dropped rather than one gained.

They would expect to have too much firepower for a Swansea side who have had one decent spell this season – they strung four straight wins together from late September – but are currently on a run of just one win in six.

This won't have been a fixture Michael Duff would have earmarked as a potential three-pointer but there is good grounds for believing they can give the Whites a fright or two, and at least find the net.

Good enough to score twice at Ipswich in a 3-2 loss on their last away day, they have won three times on their travels.

Jerry Yates to score anytime @ 7/2

Many eyes will be on Joel Piroe and Jerry Yates, the opposing strikers and team-mates at the start of the season, and both in pretty good form.

Piroe, the Swans' top scorer who left South Wales for Leeds in the summer window, could possibly get a rest against his former club, though it's hard to see Yates getting a breather.

Swansea need their five-goal acquisition from Blackpool and he can certainly test out a defence missing Liam Cooper.

Yates has scored ten goals in ten different games since the middle of March and is value to find the net in a game where Leeds' open approach does offer opportunities for opponents.

Corner handicap - Leeds -3 @ 11/10

Leeds should boss the ball at Elland Road where they boast 57% possession this term.

That always manifests itself in a one-sided corner count which should happen again. Farke's team average 6.8 corners per game in home fixtures and concede only 2.6 per match.

Back them to cover a spread of three on the corner handicap.
