Valencia vs Alaves Prediction: Los Che look good for the win

It has been yet another disappointing La Liga season for fallen giants Valencia but they have given their survival hopes a boost with two wins in three games and they get a great opportunity to build on that on Sunday.
Sunday’s showdown at the Mestalla is a huge one, with Alaves just two points behind their hosts, and it will be interesting to see how this six-pointer pans out. Find my Valencia vs Alaves predictions down below.

*Odds correct as of the time of publication
Valencia will again be without Mouctar Diakhaby, Dimitri Foulquier, Jose Copete and Julen Agirrezabala while they must also assess Lucas Beltran.
Alaves' injury list is much lighter, with defender Ville Koski their only player in the treatment room. They are, however, depleted by suspensions for Pablo Ibanez and Victor Parada.
Valencia vs Alaves Predicted Lineups
- Valencia - Dimitrievski; Rendall, Comert, Nunez, Gaya; Rodriguez, Ugrinic; Ramazani, Guerra, Rioja; Sadiq
- Alaves - Sivera; Tenaglia, Pacheco, Jonny; Perez, Blanco, Suarez, Enriquez; Alena; Martinez, Boye
Valencia are 21/20 favourites to see off 11/4 Alaves, with the draw available at 21/10.
Goals may come at a premium at the Mestalla, so it is no surprise it is 11/8 for there to be three or more scored.
Umar Sadiq is the 10/3 favourite to open the scoring, but in-form Largie Ramazani may be a smarter selection at 7/1.
Valencia to win @ 21/20
Each of these sides are looking over their shoulder towards the relegation zone but while both find themselves in a precarious position, one has much more momentum coming into this six-pointer, and that may very well prove to be the difference at the Mestalla.
Valencia have enjoyed two wins in their last three games, only losing to high-flying rivals Villarreal during that sequence, and that is a stark contrast to the form of their visitors, who have gone five matches without a victory.
Add in the Mestalla factor, with Los Che losing just two of their last eight games on home soil, and it is hard to see a way they don't win, especially with travel-sick Deportivo losing four of their last six on the road.
Alaves will hope the appointment Quique Sanchez Flores will result in a new-manager bounce but Carlos Corberan is a top tactician and he should lead his hosts to an important win with minimal fuss.

Largie Ramazani to score anytime @ 11/4
Despite joining on loan from Leeds in August, Largie Ramazani only made his first La Liga start for Valencia in February, however, his form since making the starting XI suggests it will be a while before he loses his spot.
The Belgian winger marked his full La Liga debut with a goal against Levante and has scored in both of his two starts since, most recently netting the winner in last Sunday's 1-0 win over Osasuna.
Ramazani's pace and trickery should cause an Alaves defence which has conceded 10 goals during their five-match winless run plenty of problems and he looks a big price to maintain his fine form on Sunday.
