Levante will be without Kervin Arriaga as the midfielder is suspended after being sent off in the closing stages of Sunday's derby defeat against Valencia. Roger Brugue is a long term-absentee while Pablo Martinez faces a late fitness due to a leg problem.

Villarreal head into Wednesday's clash depleted, with Juan Foyth out for the season and Pau Cabanes also sidelined long-term. Gerard Moreno is a doubt with a muscle problem, Alfon Gonzalez is nursing a thigh issue and Willy Kambwala has a ligament injury. Dani Parejo also has a knock and may not be fit to feature.
