Fresh after getting their Superliga title defence off to a flying start on Friday, Kobenhavn quickly turn their attention to the Uefa Champions League on Tuesday (18:00 BST) as they welcome Drita to Parkn for the first leg of their second-round qualifier.

Below you will find my Kobenhavn vs Drita predictions, accompanied by the latest team news and match odds.

Team News

Kobenhavn are still coming to terms with the departure of exciting Swedish attacker Roony Bardghji, who joined Barcelona last week for an initial fee of just £1.73m. The teenager missed much of last season due to injury, but he will still be a big loss for the Danish champions.

The Loverne made an eye-catching signing themselves over the summer, though, in the form of Youssoufa Moukoko from Borussia Dortmund for around £4.3m. The 20-year-old partnered Mohamed Elyounoussi up front in the win against Viborg last time out.

This could continue on Tuesday but veterans Viktor Claesson and Andreas Cornelius are also going to push for minutes.

Oliver Hojer and Junnosuke Suzuki (both unspecified) are out of contention, while goalkeeper Runar Alex Runarsson is sidelined with a broken hand.

Kobenhavn vs Drita Stats

  • Kobenhavn have won their last four competitive matches
  • Two of them have come at Parken
  • Mohamed Elyounoussi (KOB) was on the scoresheet against Viborg last time out

Drita's second-choice goalkeeper, Eron Isufi is currently out of action with a back problem, but the rest of Zekirija Ramadani's squad is otherwise in good nick for the first leg.

Striker Arb Manaj is likely to front a 4-2-3-1 system for the Kosovo giants, while Veton Tusha's goal off the bench last time out should give the boss something to think about ahead of Tuesday's clash.

Kobenhavn vs Drita Odds

Kobenhavn have won their last four competitive matches (two of which have come at home) and they are the overwhelming favourites at 1/12 to win this match. They have kept three clean sheets during this run and they are 4/7, which has an implied probability of 63.6%, to win to nil.

The draw is marketed at 13/2. Drita won both legs in their first-round qualifier but they are a whopping 18/1 to stun the Danish champions on Tuesday.

There have been at least three goals scored in five of Kobenhavn's previous seven matches in all competitions and over 2.5 goals is available at 2/5.

Kobenhavn to win to nil @ 4/7

Drita are into the the second round of qualifying for the first time in their history, whereas Kobenhavn boast plenty of experience at this stage and beyond when it comes to the Champions League.

The Kosovans will try to come out all guns blazing to try and unsettle their hosts at Parken, but I don't see it having too much of an effect on Kobenhavn. There is a gulf in class on paper, and I am expecting this to be represented on the pitch when the two sides collide.

The hosts have an exciting blend of youth and experience in their team and I think this poses a huge threat to Drita, who could end up going back to Kosovo with a mountain to climb in the second leg.

Getting things wrapped up on Tuesday, so that players can be rested for the second leg is no doubt in the forefront of the hosts' minds right now, and I think they can do just that.

They've won four competitive matches on the bounce and have recorded clean sheets in three of them. I'm backing them to achieve another shutout on Tuesday evening.

Mohamed Elyounoussi anytime goalscorer @ 21/20

Former Celtic and Southampton attacker Elyounoussi opened up his account for the season with a goal in the 3-2 victory over Viborg on Friday, and I think he could be set for another starring role on Tuesday.

The Norwegian has proven his usefulness in a variety of roles across his career and he is currently enjoying himself as a forward for the Loverne, and his goal the other night should give him plenty of confidence heading into this UCL qualifier.

He has three goals in eight Champions League appearances for Kobenhavn so far, while last season he netted eight times across 27 Superliga fixtures. He can be relied upon in front of goal and I think we will see him strike for the second successive match against Drita.
