Team News
Maksim Samorodov and Bakhtiyar Zaynutdinov will provide the host's attacking threat, and Chelsea-bound Dastan Satpaev looks set to start, also.
That apart, Kazakhstan appear to have no injuries or fresh fitness concerns heading into Thursday's contest.
Kazakhstan vs Wales Stats
- Wales won the reverse fixture between the sides 3-1 back in March
- Craig Bellamy's men are the top scorers in Group J with 10
As for Wales, they will be without skipper Aaron Ramsey, who has been left out by Bellamy due to a lack of match fitness, while Danny Ward was taken off injured during Wrexham's win over Millwall.
Dylan Lawlor and Ronan Kpakio have been included in the Wales squad for the first time, along with Coventry City's Kai Andrews. Premier League regulars Harry Wilson and Brennan Johnson are set to start.
The hosts are 11/2 to win Thursday's contest, with the draw priced up at 11/4 and Wales are 4/7 favourites, giving them an implied win probability of 63.6%.
A repeat of the 3-1 win Wales enjoyed in March is 12/1, while Kieffer Moore currently tops the anytime goalscorer market at 11/8.
Match Result & Both Teams to Score - Wales & Yes @ 11/4
Wales' most recent international outing resulted in a 4-3 defeat against Belgium, thanks to a late winner from Kevin De Bruyne.
Bellamy's side earned plaudits for their performance however, and Thursday's visitors will be confident of responding with a convincing victory here. The Dragons came from three goals behind before succumbing to De Bruyne's strike, and have been playing some excellent football on their pursuit of World Cup qualification.
As mentioned above, Wales were victorious when the two sides locked horns at the Cardiff City Stadium in March, but the Kazakhs gave them a scare in that game by converting a first-half penalty.
We can see the hosts getting on the scoresheet again on Thursday, but Wales will ultimately prevail, strengthening their bid to qualify for next year's competition.

Anytime Goalscorer - Brennan Johnson @ 15/8
Johnson has made a bright start to the season for his club side Tottenham Hotspur, scoring two goals across the opening three games, and the tricky winger can bring that form to his country.
The Spurs forward was on the scoresheet in the aforementioned defeat against Belgium - his first goal for Wales since his strike in the 4-1 win over Iceland in the Uefa Nations League in November 2024.
The former Nottingham Forest man enters Thursday's match in good form, so he looks a sensible pick to score anytime at 15/8.
