Huddersfield have had a couple of rough patches this season but are fifth in the table after winning three of their last five league games, including a 2-1 away win at Stevenage on Saturday.
Wrexham, backed by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, are in the hunt for a third successive promotion but are currently just outside the two automatic promotion places in third behind Birmingham and Wycombe.
The Red Dragons have lost only one of their last eight matches in 90 minutes but have had a frustrating week, losing their EFL Trophy semi-final at home to Peterborough in a penalty shootout before being held to a goalless draw in a cagey league contest at home to Bolton on Saturday.
Team news
Huddersfield have a long injury list including Mickel Miller, Tom Lees, Matty Pearson, Radinio Balker, Herbie Kane, Danny Ward and Rhys Healey. However, Joe Taylor was back in the squad on Saturday and could return to the starting line-up, while Ben Wiles is also in contention to start.
Wrexham's Andy Cannon is out for the rest of the season, but Elliot Lee is in contention to return to the line-up after coming on as a substitute in the last two games.

Huddersfield are 31/20 favourites at home, with Wrexham on offer at 9/4 and the draw priced at 11/5.

Match Result - Draw @ 11/5
Wrexham's promotion bid has been based largely around their strong home form and 12 of their 18 League One wins have come in Wales, but they have been much better on the road over the last month.
Phil Parkinson's team won all four of their away matches in February, with league wins over bottom-half trio Crawley, Northampton and Mansfield, plus an EFL Trophy success at League Two Port Vale.
Having failed to beat Shrewsbury, Barnsley and Bristol Rovers in their previous three away games, this is Wrexham's toughest test on the road since they went to Stockport in November and lost 1-0.
Huddersfield have been inconsistent for much of the season and had suffered back-to-back league defeats to Peterborough and Wigan before getting back on track at Stevenage.
The Terriers' recent home games have been tight, with six of the last seven producing no more than a single goal, but having won three of their previous four away games, they will be looking forward to serving up a better show for their home fans this time.
With neither side quite firing on all cylinders at the moment, this could develop into a tight contest that ends with the scores level.

Sam Smith first goalscorer @ 13/2
If Wrexham don't secure automatic promotion this season, it won't be down to a lack of ambition as they forked out a seven-figure fee to sign striker Sam Smith from League One rivals Reading in the January transfer window as well as adding former England man Jay Rodriguez from Burnley.
Smith scored his first goal for Wrexham when latching on to a long ball to open the scoring against Northampton and went close to adding to his tally against Bolton on Saturday when putting a header just wide.
The 26-year-old is joint-fifth in the League One top-scorer list, having netted 11 goals for Reading before his record-breaking winter move, and he looks a major threat to Huddersfield.
