A run of three games without success has left Juventus playing catch-up in the Serie A title race, so the Old Lady will be eager to return to winning ways at Verona.

Hosts Verona have won just twice since the start of September and also need to pick up points fast as they attempt to stave off relegation.

So it promises to be keenly contested at the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi on Saturday evening.

Hellas Verona vs Juventus Prediction

  • Juventus to win and under 2.5 goals @ 21/10
  • Over 47.5 booking points @ 8/11

Team News

Tomas Suslov is set to return after a ban for Verona, who could be missing only their Argentinian forward Juan Manuel Cruz for the visit of Juventus.

Star striker Dusan Vlahovic missed Juves's 1-0 defeat at home to Udinese on Monday night but hopes to be fit.

Moise Kean, Mattia De Sciglio and Mattia Perin are injured and Brazilian defender Bremer serves a one-game ban. However, Danilo is available after suspension.

Match Odds

Juventus are 4/6 to get back on track at Verona, who are 5/1 to inflict a third straight defeat on the Old Lady of Turin. The draw is available at 13/5.

Under 2.5 goals, which has landed in six of the last seven meetings, is an 8/13 shot while it is 6/5 that there are more than two strikes.

Juventus to win and under 2.5 goals @ 21/10

It has been a rough few weeks for Juventus, whose untimely poor run of form has allowed Inter Milan to put daylight between themselves and the Turin giants at the top of Serie A.

Saturday's trip to a Verona side battling relegation looks an ideal chance for Juve to get back on track – but it may not be pretty.

Juve have won each of the pair's last three meetings 1-0 and it would be no surprise to see the visitors eke out another low-scoring success on their trip to Veneto.

The visitors were 2-0 winners in the meeting immediately before that trio of single-goal victories, and six of their last seven clashes with Verona have featured no more than two goals.

An away win in a game featuring no more than two goals looks the way to go.

Over 47.5 booking points @ 8/11

Both sides will be desperate for points for different reasons and there is a chance that frustrations could boil over if things aren't going the way of either side.

So a punt on over 47.5 booking points, where a yellow card is worth ten points and a red 25, may be worth a small interest.

The last five meetings have resulted in bookings points totals of 70, 20, 75, 30 and 50.

Over 47.5 booking points at 8-11
