It might be coming towards the end of the season but we are always looking to improve our betting offering for our visitors, hence why we've given our Scottish Football expert the nod to write a weekly Goals Galore Tips column.

Each Saturday throughout the remainder of the season, he'll pick out five matches from the Goals Galore coupon where he thinks both teams will find the back of the net.

Will he do better than our regular Saturday BTTS column guy, who has already provided three winners at 11/1 or longer this season? We'll monitor his progress...

  • Back BTTS Ross County vs Hearts
  • Back BTTS Man City vs Newcastle

Celtic vs St Johnstone

We open at Parkhead, where Celtic could return to the top of the Premiership with a win despite losing at Tynecastle when last in league action. They enjoy home advantage against St Johnstone and the stats show both teams scored in four of the last five meetings, including a hard-fought 3-1 away win for Celtic last time.

Motherwell vs Aberdeen

Sticking with the Premiership, and we’re hoping for goals at Fir Park in a fascinating contest involving the Steelmen and Dons. Saturday will be the third meeting of Motherwell and Aberdeen this season, and with the aggregate score locked at 7-5 in the visitor’s favour, we’re after more of the same.

Ross County vs Hearts

We wrap up our Premiership Saturday treble by showing an interest in the game at Dingwall. Hearts should beat Ross County following a battling win over Greenock Morton at Cappielow Park in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals on Monday evening. These sides have already shared five goals this term, including a gripping 2-2 at Tynecastle in December.

Middlesbrough vs Blackburn

Moving to an ultra-competitive English Championship, and we’re chasing goals at the Riverside Stadium. The stats sheet shows Boro and Rovers treated fans to a competitive contest at Ewood Park in the summer. Interestingly, 2-1 was the final score in each of the last three meetings, and another would suit us just fine.

Man City vs Newcastle

Wrapping things up at the Etihad Stadium, we’re hoping for Goals Galore as Man City host Newcastle in the FA Cup quarter-finals in a game you can follow live on BBC One from 5:30pm. Which team will win? We’re on the locals, but expect Newcastle to keep things interesting with a goal or two. The pair already share seven goals this season, and armchair fans should enjoy a few more on Saturday evening.
