There will be some familiar names to Arsenal supporters in the Fulham side on Sunday (14:00, Sky Sports Main Event) as the two London clubs face off in the Premier League at Craven Cottage. Bernd Leno, Alex Iwobi, Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson all spent a considerable number of years with the Gunners but the quartet will be looking to get one over Mikel Arteta's team this weekend, although Nelson is ineligible to feature under the terms of his loan deal.

Below you can find my Fulham vs Arsenal Bet Builder tips as Marco Silva's Cottagers host last season's runners-up in west London.

Player Shots on Target - Alex Iwobi (FUL) 1+

It's been a sensational start to the season for Fulham midfielder Iwobi whose brace in the 3-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Thursday saw him equal his best-ever Premier League goal tally of five in the 2023/24 campaign. He scored just 17 goals in 223 Premier League games for Arsenal and Everton before joining the Cottagers in August last year but has 10 in only 44 outings for Silva's side, and there looks to be no stopping him at present.

The 28-year-old now has three in his last three games after also netting in Fulham's 4-1 defeat to Wolves at Craven Cottage on November 23, meaning he has now struck in back-to-back matches at home - can he make it a hat-trick on Sunday?

That might be pushing it, but a shot on target is certainly achievable. The Nigeria international is averaging a shot on target per Premier League game this season and has recorded at least one in his previous six matches - two in his last three.

Up against his old club at the Cottage, you can imagine Iwobi will be desperate to showcase his full range of abilities on Sunday, and that should mean him cranking out a couple of shots in a bid to get one over his former side.

The Gunners conceded twice in both meetings with the Cottagers last season, drawing 2-2 at the Emirates in August 2023 before being beaten 2-1 in west London in December of that year. They kept a clean sheet in Wednesday's 2-0 win over Manchester United but goalkeeper David Raya was still forced into a couple of saves and their last away trip in the capital, against West Ham last Saturday, saw them concede five shots on target, with the Irons scoring with two of their efforts within the goal frame.

Fulham, led by Iwobi, can cause them a few issues this weekend.

Player Fouls - Calvin Bassey (FUL) 1+

Iwobi's club and international teammate, Calvin Bassey, is a tenacious defender who can sometimes overdo it, as evidenced by the four yellow cards he has already accumulated this season. The 24-year-old is only averaging 0.9 fouls per game but that average has been boosted in recent weeks by him making exactly one foul in his last three outings against Wolves, Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton, having not made one in his previous four.

Bassey only featured once against Arsenal last season, in his side's 2-1 win at the Cottage, but made one foul and was also booked for time wasting. I'm not backing another card this time but I think he's a good shout to make at least one foul on Sunday, particularly with the likes of Kai Havertz - fouled 1.2 times per game on average - and Bukayo Saka - fouled 2.1 times per game on average - likely to be in his vicinity.

Team Booking Points - Arsenal Over 19.5

Before explaining this selection, it should be noted that, with Betfred, a yellow card amounts to 10 booking points and a red to 25, while a dismissal for two bookable offences comes up to 35 - see this helpful guide for more.

Alongside Southampton, Arsenal top the Premier League red card table with three - one of them a straight red, the others for two yellows (95 booking points for the three reds combined), and have been shown 31 yellows in total.

The Gunners have received at least 20 booking points in 10 of their first 14 league games and now face a Fulham side that drew two yellows (20 booking points) from Brighton in midweek.

I think there's a decent chance that Adama Traore starts on Sunday, or at least plays a significant part in proceedings at the Cottage, and his presence on the pitch would only further fuel my belief that a couple of cards could come the visitors' way this weekend.

Team Corners - Arsenal Over 3.5

Corners has been the word of the week in football with Arsenal's mastery of them attracting widespread coverage.

Against Man United on Wednesday, the Gunners took 13 corners and scored from two, taking their goal tally from such situations up to 22 since the start of last season - five more than any other side in the top five European leagues.

As well as being effective when presented with an opportunity, Arteta's team are winning a considerable share, taking 95 so far in the league this season, averaging 6.8 per game.

Fulham, meanwhile, are averaging 4.6 corners conceded per game and have given up 13 across their last two matches (six to Brighton, seven to Spurs). The Cottagers conceded four corners in the corresponding fixture with Arsenal last season and eight at the Emirates, so at least four on Sunday looks like a goer.
