Football Bet of the Day: Another clean sheet for Knutsen’s men

The UEFA Europa League final is the big game on offer on Wednesday, but as this has already been covered heavily on Betfred Insights, I have gone elsewhere for my Football Bet of the Day.
In Norway's Eliteserien, Bodo/Glimt are in action at Start, the team ranked bottom of the table (17:00 BST). The visitors have work to do to catch up with defending champions Viking at the summit and my latest column has them picking up a positive result.
Football Bet of the Day - 20 May 2026
- To Win To Nil - Bodo/Glimt @ 6/5
*Odds correct as of the time of publication
Start are a 9/1 bet to pick up their first league win of the 2026 season. The hosts have picked up four draws to date, with the stalemate here priced at 5/1.
Bodo/Glimt are a 2/9 bet to beat the hosts for the second time this term.
Kasper Hogh bagged a brace in the previous meeting and he is 23/10 to score two or more on Wednesday.
Over 3.5 Goals can be backed at 4/5, with at least four goals being scored in two of the visitors' two most recent fixtures in the league.
But as promised Superlaget fans, my Bet of the Day is one that you'll be on board with. Like Betfred, Glimt are the clear favourites to win this clash in my eyes.
Five wins from eight is a strong record and it is made to look even better considering Start are yet to taste victory. However, 2/9 odds are simply not good enough for this column, so I am backing the visitors to win to nil.
Football Bet of the Day Stats
- All 5 of Bodo/Glimt's league wins this term have been to nil, including April's reverse fixture
- Start have blanked in 2 of their 9 Eliteserien fixtures
This market is available at 6/5, which has an implied probability of 45.5%. This bet stands out to me because all five of Bodo/Glimt's victories this term have come with a clean sheet, including against Wednesday's opponents.
April's encounter in Bodo saw Kjetil Knusten's men post their joint-biggest win of the campaign, a 5-0 thrashing. Glimt have a game in hand on league leader Viking but they are currently eight points off the pace of the reigning champions.
Viking also boast a superior goal difference (18) than Bodo Glimt (12), so this is something that Knutsen and his players will be thinking about when coming up against the side rooted to the bottom of the standings.
With the attacking quality Superlaget have, goals should not be in short supply here. And considering their winning trend is accompanied by clean sheets, it seems only right to think it will continue in Kristiansand.
