Football Bet of the Day: We’re heading to the Bundesliga on Friday

Bayer Leverkusen will embark on a new era when they welcome Eintracht Frankfurt to the BayArena on Friday night (19:30 BST, live on BBC iPlayer) in what looks set to be a cracking Bundesliga tie.
New manager Kasper Hjulmand will make his managerial debut for the hosts, and this contest is our focus for Friday's Football Bet of the Day, which you can read below.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Eintracht Frankfurt Odds
The hosts are 13/10 to usher in a new era with a win, the visitors are 15/8 to make it three wins from as many Bundesliga games, and the draw is a 13/5 chance.
It came as a shock to everybody to see Leverkusen make a managerial change so early into the new season, giving Erik ten Hag the unwanted record of becoming the first manager to be given his marching orders after just two matches.
Die Werkself used the recent international break to recruit a new gaffer, with former Denmark national team coach Hjulmand deciding to take on the challenge.
The Dane enjoyed great success with his country, leading them to the semi-finals at Euro 2020, but he faces a tricky opening assignment as Leverkusen boss against Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday.
The visitors have scored seven goals across their opening two league matches, winning both, as well as sticking five without reply past FV Engers 07 in the first round of the DFB-Pokal.
Football Bet of the Day Stats
- Eintracht Frankfurt have won their opening two Bundesliga fixtures
- The visitors haven't won at the BayArena since 2013
- Bayer Leverkusen have won eight of the previous 10 contests against Frankfurt
In contrast, Leverkusen are in a tough period right now, losing one and drawing the other of their opening two Bundesliga fixtures.
They lost plenty of key men in the summer, most notably Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong to Liverpool, and made 17 signings, which seems a bit excessive for one window.
In addition, the hosts will need time to adjust to Hjulmand’s tactics, and Eintracht will have nothing to fear heading to the BayArena - despite not tasting victory away in Leverkusen since 2013.
We think Eintracht look a big price at 15/8 given their electric start to the season, so we're backing them to get the job done on Friday.
