Football Accumulator Tips: Mourinho to mastermind first Fener win in Tuesday’s fivefold

Tuesday's football accumulator tips include a couple of picks from South America, with Argentina and Brazil both represented, and a couple from the Champions League second qualifying round.
The fifth and final selection comes from Scotland, where the League Cup group stage is in full swing, to serve up a 6.89/1 fivefold.

Football Accumulator pay @ 6.89/1
Santos (H) to beat Coritiba @ 8/15
Kicking off this fivefold is a Campeonato Brasileiro Serie B contest between Santos and Coritiba at Estadio Urbano Caldeira (00:00).
The hosts have made a fantastic start to life in the second tier following the club's first-ever relegation last season, collecting 29 points from their first 16 games to sit top of the table heading into Tuesday's game.
There was a rocky period between the end of May and the middle of June where the Brazilian giants lost four straight matches, but they've recovered to go on a six-game unbeaten run, four of which have ended in a victory.
Santos have been particularly hot at home, winning six of their seven matches, and their only 'home' defeat actually came away from Tuesday's venue - a 2-1 loss to Botafogo SP at Estadio do Cafe in Londrina.
Meanwhile, Coritiba - relegated from Serie A alongside Santos last year - are languishing in 13th having won just five times this term and not since June 20.
Their five-game winless run includes three defeats, two of which have seen them fail to score.
Coritiba's away record has also been pretty dreadful - they're yet to win on their travels this season and have lost four of the seven they have played on the road, scoring just three times.
Up against a side that has kept three consecutive clean sheets at home, the visitors are up against it on Tuesday to even claim a point.
Newell's Old Boys (H) to beat Independiente Rivadavia @ 8/13
In the Argentine Primera Division, Newell's Old Boys host Independiente Rivadavia at Estadio Marcelo Bielsa (22:45).
Newell's are currently three places behind Tuesday's visitors to Rosario, but just a point separates the sides with the season in its early infancy, and Newell's have won two of their first three games at home, beating Platense (2-0) and Defensa y Justicia (1-0) before losing to Instituto (0-2).
Intriguingly, Independiente Rivadavia enjoyed a perfect start to their away campaign by beating Lanus (0-2) and Sarmiento Junin (0-1) before being edged out by Huracan (1-0) last time out.
That defeat to Huracan was over a month ago now on June 15, while Newell's have also played just once since their home defeat to Instituto, winning away to Baracas Central (0-1) last Friday, a day after Independiente Rivadavia beat Gimnasia L.P. (1-0).
There's no head-to-head record to go on between these two sides, with Independiente Rivadavia only earning promotion to the top tier for the first time in its history last year, so Tuesday's contest is a difficult one to assess.
But Newell's have won five of their 12 home games across all competitions in 2024, including four of their last seven, and have the better squad between the two, with former Valencia and Sevilla star Ever Banega still pulling the strings at the age of 36.
St Johnstone (A) to beat Alloa Athletic @ 1/2
Alloa Athletic have made an unbeaten start to their 2024/25 League Cup campaign this year, collecting five points from games against East Fife (0-0, won on penalties) and Brechin City (1-3), but they face their biggest test of Group F on Tuesday when they welcome St Johnstone to Recreation Park (19:45, Premier Sports Player).
The Saints have a 100% record having beaten Brechin away (1-2) and Morton at home (2-0), and they will be confident of dispatching a side two divisions below them.
St Johnstone didn't end the 2023/24 Scottish Premiership season strongly, winning just one of their final six games to finish 10th, above the relegation zone only on goal difference, but they've now won their last five matches including friendlies.
Of course, pre-season victories against inferior opposition mean very little, but they do help, if only a little, to instill more confidence in the side, and now they are on this winning run, I don't think they will want to drop their standards.
Fenerbahce (A) to beat Lugano @ 7/10
This is the game that bumps up the accumulator odds, despite it still being below EVS.
Last season's Swiss Super League runners-up Lugano host 2023/24 Turkish Super Lig runners-up Fenerbahce at the Stockhorn Arena on Tuesday night (19:30) in the first leg of their Champions League second qualifying round tie.
Fenerbahce have lost three of their last four away games in European competition, going down 2-0 at Ludogorets and 6-1 to Nordsjaelland in the Europa Conference League group stage last season before exiting the competition in the quarter-finals to Olympiakos, being beaten 3-2 in Piraeus.
However, they won all six qualifying games, including three away from home, in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds last summer, and didn't lose away all season in the Super Lig en route to collecting 99 points.
They've since appointed two-time Champions League winner Jose Mourinho as their new head coach, and the Portuguese icon has set about improving the side further, bringing in the likes of Rade Krunic, Caglar Soyuncu, Cenk Tosun and Allan Saint-Maximin.
It remains to be seen if Saint-Maximin is available to play on Tuesday after only joining last week and not playing a pre-season game, but with Edin Dzeko scoring in four of Fenerbahce's five pre-season friendlies, they still look potent at the top end of the pitch.
It's no slight on Lugano, who have finished in the top four of the Swiss Super League for four seasons in a row, but their squad is much inferior to Fenerbahce's. That was telling in their own Europa Conference League group last year as they finished bottom of Group D, below Besiktas who lost twice to their Istanbul rivals in the Turkish top flight last term and finished 44 points behind Fenerbahce.
Plus, Tuesday's first leg will be played at the Stockhorn Arena, which isn't Lugano's home stadium, further denting their hopes of claiming a victory to take to Turkey next week.
Bodo/Glimt (H) to beat Rigas @ 1/4
Also on Tuesday is the first leg of a Champions League second qualifying round tie between Bodo/Glimt and RFS at Aspmyra Stadion in Bodo, Norway (16:00).
The hosts romped to the 2023 Eliteserien title last year, finishing nine points clear of second-placed Brann, and are already six points ahead of the same team after 16 games played this term.
Bodo/Glimt are unbeaten at home in Norway's top division, collecting 18 points from eight matches, and won two of their three Europa Conference League group games last season, beating Besiktas (3-1) and Lugano (5-2) en route to second place.
RFS are currently four points ahead of Riga in the Latvian top flight and have won their last seven matches, including home (3-0) and away (0-4) ties with Larne in the first round of the Champions League qualifiers.
However, this is a huge step up for them, and it would be a big shock if Bodo/Glimt didn't emerge as winners on Tuesday.
