We’ve got action from Brazil and Paraguay to look forward to on Saturday, and I’ve put together a spicy-looking acca that is over 50/1.
Read on for my Football Accumulator Tips as I search for a big Saturday winner.

Botafogo to beat Corinthians to nil (H)
Botafogo were one of the surprise packages at the Club World Cup as they beat PSG and got out of their group, and they have returned to domestic action in good form as well. They currently sit fifth in Serie A, but they have been on a decent run, wining four of their last five league matches.
Since returning from the CWC, where they eventually lost to Palmeiras, they’ve won two and drawn one in the league, but it has been their defence that has impressed me. They haven’t conceded in any of those games, while their opponents aren’t in great form at all. Corinthians have won just one of their last eight in all competitions and sit 11th having picked up just 20 points from 16. Fogo should be able to secure another win to nil on home soil.
Santos to beat Sport Recife (A)
Staying in Brazil and Neymar’s Santos are having a troublesome time, but their woes should be eased this weekend as they travel to bottom-club Sport Recife. It’s astonishing how bad Recife have been this season in truth, as they have picked up just four points from 14 Serie A matches - scoring just seven goals along the way.
Santos have been pretty bad as well, picking up 14 points from 15 games in Serie A, but they should have enough quality to get past Recife on the road.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
Deportivo Recoleta vs Cerro Porteno - BTTS
Over to Paraguay now and Cerro Porteno, who finished second in the Apertura, travel to face a Deportivo Recoleta that has started the Clausura strongly. They have bounced back from an opening day 4-2 defeat to Trinidense to record 3-2 and 3-1 wins in their last two games, with a clear pattern emerging for the home side.
They are involved in high-scoring matches, and given the quality of the opposition they are facing, I think their run of fixtures featuring BTTS will continue. Cerro Porteno currently sit top with seven points from a possible nine and although BTTS has only come in during one of their three matches to date, I believe this game should be an entertaining one. I won’t predict a match result, just BTTS for our acca.
Trinidense to beat Libertad to nil (H)
Libertad won the Apertura title and are favourites to win this clash, but I am seriously concerned about their form - especially in front of goal. At the end of last term, they won just two of their last nine league games as they stumbled to the title.
This campaign, they’ve failed to score a single goal as they’ve picked up just one point from three Clausura fixtures. That means they’ve only scored six in their last 12 league outings, while they are coming up against a Trinidense outfit that are unbeaten in their last eight.
I’ll back the home side to win this one to nil and add to the misery of the reigning champions.
