Team News

Turkey picked up no fresh injury concerns in their 6-1 demolition of Bulgaria on Saturday, so boss Vincenzo Montella may decide to stick with the same XI.

Arda Guler, Kenan Yildiz and Kerem Akturkoglu would then continue in attack, with the latter bagging a brace against Georgia when the sides faced last month.

Baris Alper Yilmaz was sent off during that encounter and following his two-game suspension, he is back available for the Crescent-Stars on Tuesday.

Brighton & Hove Albion defender Ferdi Kadioglu and Zeki Celik are expected to continue in their roles as the full-backs for the hosts.

Football Odds

For Georgia, Luka Lochoshvili could come into the side after missing the defeat to Spain through a suspension of his own.

Lochoshvili is likely to feature in central defence alongside Saba Goglichidze, while Otar Kakabadze and Irakli Azarovi are set to feature as the full-backs.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has scored three times in his last four appearances for his country, and so his teammates will be looking to him for inspiration in the final third.

Turkey vs Georgia Predicted Line-ups

  • Turkey - Cakir; Celik, Demiral, Bardakci, Kadioglu; Calhanoglu, Kokcu; Aydin, Guler, Yildiz; Akturkoglu
  • Georgia - Mamardashvili; Kakabadze, Goglichidze, Lochoshvili, Azarovi; Kiteishvili, Mekvabishvili, Kochorashvili; Davitashvili, Kvaratskhelia, Mikautadze

Today's Football Fixtures

Turkey vs Georgia Odds

Turkey have beaten Georgia in the past three meetings in all competitions and they are 4/6 (implied probability of 60%) to come away with the victory on Tuesday.

The stalemate is priced at 3/1, while Georgia are 4/1 to collect the three points.

There have been goals at both ends in the last three meetings between the two sides and BTTS is available at 8/11 here.

Turkey vs Georgia Stats

  • Turkey have beaten Georgia on the past three occasions
  • BTTS struck in all three contests
  • Kenan Yildiz (TUR) bagged a brace against Bulgaria last time out

Turkey and both teams to score @ 11/5

The hosts have had the better of this fixture in recent meetings, and I think this trend can continue on Tuesday, especially as they also possess the home advantage. A win for the Crescent-Stars here would strengthen their grip on second spot in Group E, as they would move six points clear of the visitors in the standings.

Turkey head into this game with a lot of momentum from their six-goal showing against Bulgaria at the weekend, and Georgia's defenders will be put on red alert. The Crusaders know all too well of the hosts' attacking threat, having conceded three goals against Turkey in each of the past three head-to-head contests.

The two sides have provided entertainment in recent encounters, with the reverse fixture in this qualifying campaign ending 3-2. I think we could be in for another spectacle, but one in which Turkey come out on top again.

There have been goals at both ends in two of the hosts' qualifiers to date, while BTTS has been a successful bet in each of their last three fixtures against Georgia.

Kenan Yildiz anytime goalscorer @ 2/1

After scoring a brace against Georgia last month, Akturkoglu is arguably the most sensible pick when looking to bet on a goalscorer in this match, but it is Yildiz whom I am turning to on this occasion.

The attacker netted his first goals of this qualifying campaign with his brace against Bulgaria last time out, and I believe this can have a positive impact on his performances to come in Group E.

The Juventus star has had a decent start to the season in Italy, and it looks like he is about to start making a bigger name for himself on the international stage.
