Double Chance - Sweden or Draw

I'm not too hopeful over Sweden's chances of progressing far at this World Cup, but I think they're a better team than Tunisia, who only won one game at the recent Africa Cup of Nations, beating Uganda (3-1) in their opening match before drawing 1-1 with Tanzania in their third.

The Eagles of Carthage have failed to win any of their last three games, failing to score in a goalless draw with Canada in April and June defeats to Austria (0-1) and Belgium (0-5).

Sweden failed to get a win on the board in their warm-up games, either, losing 3-1 to Norway and drawing 2-2 with Greece, but those were more encouraging displays and scorelines, while they overcame both Ukraine (3-1) and Poland (3-2) in the play-offs earlier this year.

I don't fancy backing a winner outright here, but Sweden look like the safer bet in the Double Chance market.

Player 1+ Shots on Target (Sub Switch) - Viktor Gyokeres (SWE)

Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres didn't live up to expectations following his big-money move from Sporting last summer, but he still scored 21 goals across all competitions and is probably Sweden's most important forward at this World Cup following Alexander Isak's injury struggles at Liverpool.

Gyokeres hit the target with both of his shots in last week's 2-2 draw with Greece, scoring with his second effort, and he averaged one shot on target per game in qualifying, scoring four times, so he should make the goalkeeper work at least once here.

Sweden vs Tunisia Odds

Player 2+ Shots (Sub Switch) - Elias Achouri (TUN)

FC Copenhagen's Elias Achouri averaged 1.6 shots per game in last season's Danish Superliga and bagged a brace in Tunisia's opening match of the 2025 AFCON last December.

The 27-year-old hit the post in his country's 5-0 defeat to Belgium earlier this month and is one of the few men in the side that can create magic moments.

Player 2+ Fouls (Sub Switch) - Rani Khedira (TUN)

Union Berlin midfielder Rani Khedia averaged 1.6 fouls in the 2025/26 Bundesliga season and is likely to be tasked with breaking up the play in the middle of midfield against Sweden, whose three likely starters in that area, Brighton's Yasin Ayari, Celtic's Benjamin Nygren and Udinese's Jesper Karlstrom, all averaged at least one foul won per game for their teams in the league last season.

Betfred's Sub Switch rolls your bet to the oncoming substitute, so you stay in the game, even when your player doesn’t.
