Colombia and Portugal go head-to-head for top spot in Group K at the FIFA World Cup when they meet in Miami on Saturday (7pm local time/Sunday 12:30am BST, BBC One). Colombia are in the driving seat on six points but Portugal showed their attacking quality with a five-goal routing of Uzbekistan last time out.

Colombia boss Nestor Lorenzo has named the same team twice in the group stage so far and we're expecting the same side in this crunch clash against Portugal.

Right-back Daniel Munoz has scored in both games and he poses a big threat to Portugal's back line. Juan Quintero set up Munoz's goal against DR Congo last time out, and he could be set for another important role from the bench.

Luis Diaz is the star attacker for Los Cafeteros and he'll be hoping to build on his goal and assist at the tournament so far.

Striker Luis Suarez is yet to get off the mark in North America but he's been a good focal point for Colombia.

Portugal

After scoring twice against Uzbekistan last time out, Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo has opened his account at the tournament. The veteran has now scored more than one goal for just the second time at the World Cup finals.

He's set to continue to spearhead the Selecao de Quinas' attack on Saturday. Pedro Neto has started both games, while the other wide spot looks up for grabs, with Joao Felix and Bernardo Silva having both started a game in Group K.

Bruno Fernandes will be the driving creative force in the number 10 role, with Paris Saint-Germain duo Vitinha and Joao Neves operating behind him.

Colombia vs Portugal Key Players:

Daniel Munoz (Colombia)

Having ventured up the pitch to score in both games at the tournament, I'm expecting another explosive performance from Colombia's Munoz.

We know from his performances at Crystal Palace that the defender likes to get forward at any given opportunity, and him doubling up with Jhon Arias could cause plenty of problems for Portugal left-back Nuno Mendes, who'll need to be on his guard to clock Munoz's movements.

Colombia are a well-organised unit and they won't be easy for Portugal to breakdown, unlike Uzbekistan in the previous game. I think Roberto Martinez's side will need to be patient with the ball but they'll need precision and composure in the final third when looking for that killer pass.

Bruno Fernandes is the man who can step up, having just broken the record for most assists in a single Premier League season (21) with Manchester United in 2025/26.

He teed up Ronaldo's second goal against Uzbekistan and we could see this combination strike against Colombia on Saturday.
