Team News
Brazil boss Carlo Ancelotti is only missing Neymar, who entered the tournament carrying a calf injury.
Elsewhere, the Selecao has a clean bill of health. Expect some rotation, with Casemiro among those likely to step out. Squash shuffling could open the door for his now-former Manchester United teammate Matheus Cunha to bag a start.
Haiti head coach Sebastien Migne has a full complement to select from. He will need every option at his disposal to fend off Ancelotti’s illustrious opposition.
Brazil vs Haiti Predicted Lineups

Brazil vs Haiti Stats
- These sides have met just once previously. Brazil won 7-1 in the group stage of the 2016 Copa America
- Haiti have lost all four World Cup finals matches in their history by an aggregate score of 15-2
Both teams to score and total goals over 3.5 - Yes @ 9/4
Why am I backing a Haiti team who could not find a way through Scotland’s defence to score against Brazil? Because the Selecao do have a recent history of allowing that sort of thing to happen.
Both teams have scored in Brazil’s last six outings. That run includes conceding two to minnows Panama. Go back a bit further and they lost 1-0 to Bolivia, in a September 2025 humiliation. Ancelotti’s side are far from infallible.
But they do have more than enough overall quality to humiliate Haiti. There is not a single player in this Brazil team who would not be far and away the best player in the Haiti squad. Even with adjustments, the likes of Cunha, Lucas Paqueta and Raphinha will run absolute riot in Philly. Oh, and then there’s this guy…

Price Boost: Vinicius Jr. to score first was 3/1 now 7/2
If there is one player in the famous canary yellow who can join Romario and Ronaldo as Brazilian winners of the FIFA Golden Ball, it is Vinicius Jr.
The most exciting Brazilian talent since his ailing teammate Neymar first burst onto the scene at Santos, Real Madrid’s attacking whirlwind must be rubbing his hands together here.
Vinicius Jr. is already off the mark at the 2026 tournament, bagging his team’s goal in their 1-1 draw with Morocco. He also opened the scoring against Panama and Croatia in two spring friendlies.Â
With an unintentionally compliant Haiti as the opposition, I reckon Vinicius Jr. gets off the mark early on.

Brazil vs Haiti Score Prediction
- Brazil 5-1 Haiti
Haiti can nick a goal, as Brazil have shown lapses against smaller nations in recent times. But that will be a pyrrhic victory for Les Grenadiers.
I expect Brazil to end up with a highlights package full of goals, with perhaps a few fringe players shining to give Ancelotti some eyebrow-raising decisions to make for the Scotland game. A thrashing, then.
