Argentina vs Austria Bet Builder Tips: Mac on the attack in Arlington

Argentina and Austria both got off to great starts in Group J of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, beating Algeria 3-0 and Jordan 3-1, respectively. La Albiceleste and Das Team face off against each other in the second round of fixtures at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Monday (12pm local, 6pm BST, BBC One).
Below are my Argentina vs Austria Bet Builder Tips as I combine four legs for a 20/1 payout.

Total Goals - Under 3.5
Four goals were scored in Austria's 3-1 victory over Jordan earlier this week, but five of Das Team's previous six games had finished with three or fewer goals, with Ralf Rangnick's side keeping three clean sheets in that run.
Argentina, meanwhile, have seen five of their last six matches, including their 3-0 group-stage win over Algeria, end with three or fewer goals scored.
I think Austria can make things more competitive for Argentina, conceding twice, at most, with a 2-0 or 2-1 scoreline in favour of La Albiceleste my prediction, so Under 3.5 Goals makes sense here.
Player 2+ Shots (Sub Switch) - Romano Schmid (AUT)
Romano Schmid opened the scoring in the 21st minute of Austria's triumph over Jordan with his only shot of the match, but I'm backing him to go one better in that regard against Argentina, who conceded seven shots to Algeria, three of which were taken by left winger Fares Chaibi.
Schmid averaged 1.7 shots per 90 for Werder Bremen in the 2025/26 Bundesliga season and could threaten Argentina's back line in Arlington.
Player 2+ Shots (Sub Switch) - Alexis Mac Allister (ARG)
Argentina midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has shot 2+ times in his last two national team appearances, recording three efforts as a second-half substitute in a 3-0 friendly success over Iceland on 10 June before trying his luck twice against Algeria earlier this week.
The 27-year-old shot four times in his final Liverpool outing of the season, too, against Brentford, and is a player who isn't afraid to strike the ball from distance, so he could be helpful if Austria decide to bunker in and defend deep at any point in the match.
Player to Be Carded (Sub Switch) - Konrad Laimer (AUT)
Konrad Laimer committed three fouls in Austria's opening group game, but escaped without a card.
He might not be so lucky against Argentina, though, who boast plenty of players that can tempt opponents into making yellow card-worthy challenges.
Laimer was issued 14 yellows in the 2025/26 season for Bayern Munich, while he was sent off in Austria's 1-0 friendly victory over Tunisia on 1 June, so he's an obvious candidate in the Player to Be Carded market.
