Team News
Lauren James is the only injury worry for England, with the Chelsea star substituted at half-time during the semi-final win over Italy. Beth Mead replaced her and if James is unable to recover, she would look the most likely as a direct replacement.
Chloe Kelly will also hope to be considered given her inspiring performances off the bench in the last two fixtures, however, with Sarina Weigman’s reputation for consistency and trusting her preferred XI, she may have to settle for her role as an impact substitute once more.
The same is likely for Michelle Agyemang despite her two strikes against Sweden and Italy.
Bar James, neither team have any injury worries or suspensions to deal with, so changes from their semi-final wins are likely to be minimal.
Spanish centre-back Laia Aleixandri is back in contention for a start following a suspension that saw her miss the semi-final win against Germany.
Spain Women are the 4/5 favourites for the win in normal time, while England Women are priced at 7/2 to retain their crown.
A draw in 90 minutes is on offer at 13/5, while Spain are 4/11 to win the final by any means, with England at 2/1 in the same market.
Spain to win and under 3.5 goals @ 6/4
This match sees a repeat of the 2023 World Cup Final, where Spain edged England 1-0 in Sydney, and a similar result could be on the cards in Switzerland.
Spain were made to work for their semi-final victory, needing a late extra-time goal to see off Germany after goalkeeper Cata Coll produced heroics in the final seconds of injury time to prevent a shock exit.
That was the first real test for the Spaniards, who had cruised through the group stage and their quarter-final against hosts Switzerland.
England, in contrast, have been made to work hard for their spot in the final. After losing their opening fixture against France, the Lionesses saw off the Netherlands and Wales to reach the knockout stages as group runners-up.
In the quarter-finals they came from 2-0 down against Sweden to level the match late on, forcing extra-time and eventually winning on penalties.
Their semi-final was no less dramatic, with Agyemang equalising in the dying moments of injury time before Kelly scored from the rebound of her own poor penalty in the 119th minute.
Despite being the tournament’s two highest scoring sides, a goal glut is not expected on Sunday.
Recent meetings between the two have been tight and low-scoring, with only eight goals scored across their last six encounters.
Spain’s defence has been outstanding throughout the tournament, and backing the World Champions to edge a narrow, low-scoring contest looks a solid option.

Claudia Pina anytime goalscorer @ 23/10
Barcelona forward Claudia Pina looks excellent value in the anytime goalscorer market. The 23-year-old has scored twice and provided two assists in her four starts.
She has registered more shots on target than any other player in the tournament, with 10 efforts. That is more than England’s top two players combined, with James and Lauren Hemp managing eight between them.
Pina also has form against the Lionesses, having scored twice in their last meeting in June.
England’s defence has looked vulnerable throughout the tournament, conceding first in three of their five matches, including both knockout rounds.
