Football bet of the day

Monday's footballing action in Europe mainly comes from Scandinavia. For my Football Bet of the Day, I'm heading to Sweden as Hacken host AIK in the Allsvenskan (7pm local time/6pm BST).

Here you have a side with a strong home record against a team who have been thriving on their travels. You'll find my selection and reasoning below.

Football Bet of the Day - 27 July 2026

  • Draw No Bet: AIK @ 7/4

Hacken vs AIK Odds

Betfred is leaning towards a home victory, with Hacken the 4/5 favourites to prevail. Only Elfsborg (six) have drawn more league games than the hosts (five) this term, and the stalemate here is priced at 3/1.

AIK are a 5/2 bet to come away with the three points, as they have done in each of their past three outings in the top flight.

Both teams have scored in each of Hacken's previous 13 competitive home matches, and BTTS - Yes is available at 4/9 on this occasion.

Hacken's Gustav Lindgren is the 11/10 favourite to score anytime on Monday, and he's bagged seven goals in 13 appearances.

For my Bet of the Day, though, I've dipped into the Draw No Bet market. Having looked at the form of both clubs, I'm leaning towards AIK here. Despite Hacken having a strong home record, they've lost two from three and I think this may have halted their momentum.

They got back to winning ways against Halmstad last time out but they're facing an AIK side who are on a three-game winning streak. Gnagnet also boast a good away record, too. They have been beaten just once on their travels, while they have picked up three victories so far.

Football Bet of the Day Stats

  • AIK are on a 3-game winning streak
  • Hacken have lost 2 of their past 3 league matches
  • AIK have lost just once on their travels in the top flight this season

AIK find themselves two points behind Hacken coming into this clash, and a victory would see them leapfrog their hosts and move into third. I believe the visitors have the greater momentum right now and I think this can have an impact on Monday's fixture.

However, I'm not underestimating Hacken in the slightest. They are having a strong campaign themselves and their home record speaks for itself. Djurgarden, who currently occupy third, are the only team to prevail at the Nordic Wellness Arena in the Allsvenskan this term, with this contest coming just three weeks ago.

Hacken also conceded four goals on that occasion, so AIK should be feeling confident given the run they're on. As such, I'm backing the away win in the Draw No Bet market, which is valued at 7/4, which has an implied probability of 36.4%.
